Prior to starting of the project, to understand the roll of Gynecologists/Obstetricians and the tools involved an initial study was done on the internet

Research Approach Followed.

Based on the brief provided 3 types of questionnaires were formulated for Gynecologists, Radiologist and Pregnant Women their interviews were also taken

Relationship of various stakeholder associated with antenatal care and the mind set of first time pregnant women was understood through the interviews

were recorded and the various tools used in Ultrasound were photo documented. The
interviews were then filtered according the brief.

Ultrasound testing can be performed on other body part as well

Detection of any complications

1st Trimester
Heart Beat starts and limb formation begins In case of complication Normal

2nd Trimester
Anamoly Scan to detect any complication that might develop during which the mother is referred to the Radiologist

3rd Trimester
This period is a crucial phase for babys weight gain. It is also a period where certain obstetric and medical problems can develop.

Toshiba is the most preferred brand for Ultrasound machines among the Radiologist because of the quality of service provided and the performance of the machine. GE is mostly preferred by the Gynecologist they make good portable Ultrasound Devices
