Documents Required for HSMP

Refer to your Friend ( Updated on 15-08-2008 ) You should supply original documentation required to support the statements on the application form. In addition to this please ensure that you fill in all the relevant sections of the application form. You should not send your passport at this stage. It is extremely important that you read carefully the guidance notes on completing the form, and the evidence that should accompany your application, before completing the form. It is essential that you fully complete all the relevant sections of the form and supply the appropriate evidence to support any statements you make. Failure to do so may lead to a delay in the consideration or refusal of your application.

Principal applicant of HSMP

According to the new rules of HSMP effective from 8th november 2006 the following documents are required for HSMP application.

Proof of age: birth certificate/ Original Driving License. You will also need to provide alternative evidence in the form of a notarised copy of the personal details page of your passport. (Please do not send your original passport with this application form).

Educational qualifications - You should provide your original degree certificate. This should clearly show o the date of the award; and o the title of the award; and o the name of the awarding institution; and o your name.

Work experience certificates for all companies you have worked in. According to new rules of HSMP there is no requirement of experience certificates but it is better to attach it but remember now there are no points for experience.

Tax returns if you are claiming points for income. If the tax year does not cover the full period claimed other corroborating evidence is required for the period(s)

not covered. Self-assessment tax documents are not accepted, as they are not independent.

Wage Slips if you are claiming points for income. Your wage slips covering the entire 12 months period.

For self employed individuals, we will need balance sheets, profit and loss statements, income tax returns for atleast 3-5 years. In addition, copies of client/ supplier references, contracts/ agreements are desirable

Applications Applications will be filed with nearest VFS office. Successful applicants will be granted leave to enter the UK for 3 years, and after this further leave to remain will be granted where evidence of employment is supplied. In-country switching will be allowed for those already in the UK in categories leading to permanent residence*, or who are already explicitly permitted to switch into work permit employment. Calling the candidate for interview by the embassy is at the sole discretion of the embassy. Scheduling appointment date is at the sole discretion of the embassy Past & Present Experience, Academics & other relevant document verification is at the sole discretion of the embassy/ home office & it is client's responsibility to get it cleared. The verification can be in the form of telephonic, through bank, third party agency etc. IIC is no way responsible for the outcome of verification. Copy of latest IT return Salary account Bank statement of last 12 months reflecting your salary credits. Bank Statement showing 2800 GBP balance for last 3 months Al the documents are required to be send in original to the UK Embassy & they are returned back to us. Note: Initially it is suggested to send only Xerox copies of the entire set as mentioned above. After scrutinizing the documents we shall call for the original documents.
