Stanley Central Issue Facility The Camp Stanley Area I Central Issue Facility (CIF) will be closed Jan. 30 Feb. 16 while the operation relocates to Camp Hovey. During this period, CIF will operate at Camp Casey out of bldg. 2603, close to the Casey Lodge near Gate 1. Services during the transition will be kept to limited equipment issue and PCS-related turn-ins. All turnins must be made by appointment. Normal operations will resume Feb. 17 at Camp Hovey in bldg. 3455. For turnin appointments, call Yi Chae-kon at 732-5604 or Mun Chang-ho at 730-4883. Ladies Night at Hovey A Jan. 30 Ladies Night Out special is on offer at Camp Hoveys Triangle Club from 5 - 8:30 p.m. Ladies will receive a 10 percent discount on all menu items. For more information, call 730-5167. USO Birthday Party The USO will be hosting its 71st birthday Feb. 3 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., at the Camp Casey USO, bldg. 3025. A spaghetti lunch is to be served, with bread and freshgrated parmesan cheese. Brig. Gen. Charles. L. Taylor, the 2nd Infantry Divisions assistant division commander for maneuver, is scheduled to attend and cut the honorary cake. For more information, call 730-4813. Super Bowl XLVI A live telecast of Super Bowl XLVI can be watched starting 6 a.m. Feb. 6. at the Gateway Club on Camp Casey, Mitchells Club on Camp Red Cloud, and the Iron Triangle Club on Camp Hovey. Free food and refreshments will be available at both places. At the Gateway, door prizes will be given away throughout the game and two large flat-screen TVs will be given away during the half-time show and at the end of the game. At Mitchells Club, therell be a chance for one person to win a free Dell laptop. At the Iron Triangle Club, free breakfast will be available from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m., and door prizes will be given. Special Forces Recruiting Special Forces recruiters are scheduled to hold briefings at the Camp Casey Education Center for those interested on what it takes to get into the Special Forces. Road Conditions Did you know that when road conditions are RED, school buses continue to run unless the school is closed? School bus drivers are professionals who have received extensive professional driver training and certification to safely operate a motor vehicle during adverse weather conditions. Senior Army leaders will not permit anyone to drive in road conditions that could potentially put drivers and their passengers in danger. Clubs Hours Extended To better serve customers, all FMWR clubs and bars are temporarily extending their hours until 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, starting Jan. 27. The regular night menu will be available at each facility until closing.
