They can be roughly classified into 8 styles.

3.Architecture in Hue
The waves of the modernisation process taking place in Vietnam are also affecting Hue. This is having a great impact on the architecture and life-style of the people. Residential and commercial areas, in particular, are undergoing changes at various speed and distributions, determining the characteristics of the area. In this section, we use architecture as a means of studying the charms and characteristics of Hue that have not been lost in the on-going development. Legend
