2010-2011 Master of Architecture in Environmental Design, University of Nottingham (Pass with Merit) Design project-based course which provided advanced training in integrated environmental design. Diverse projects were developed in the different modules of the course: Environmental Design Process in Architecture The design project consisted of a Sixth Form Centre developed around passive environmental design strategies with a strong p g g g emphasis on daylighting performance, thermal performance and the ventilation strategy. Case Study Building: Sir John Soane Museum Qualitative and quantitative study of the daylight performance in the museum. Sustainable Housing Design Project Design project aimed zero carbon criteria based on BREEAM standards and SAP calculations. Emphasis given to sustainable p g code regulations and their impact on the design development. Architectural Research Method Introduction to the theory and practice of architectural research and related built environment studies. 2011-2012 University of Nottingham, Built Environment Department Environmental design consultant, working in collaboration with Professor Benson Lau, for the redesign of the sun terrace at Nottingham Contemporary art gallery. Research assistant investigating the effect of surfaces reflectance on the daylight performance of atrium. Teaching assistant for the MArch in Environmental Design course.

eArk (Architectural Practice, Mexico) As an Architect diverse responsibilities were carried out; from the development of the concept to the specification of architectonic details. Some of the projects developed in this practice included: - Reverte Complex Developed of Master Plan for industrial complex of Spanish marble company and architectural design for the office building. d hit t l d i f th ffi b ildi - Hi Tech Laguna Park Master planning for science park, and design of buildings for companies based in park. Maiz Transforma (Construction Company , Mexico) Acting as an architect in diverse tasks such as: architectural design, engineering development, project management, site supervision, and topography survey. Some of the projects developed included: - Torres Iconos High rise development in the city centre of Monterrey. Consultancy for LEED certification as New Construction & Major Renovation. - Parque de Investigacin e Innovacin Tecnolgica (PIIT) Science Park in which government, universities, and private sector collaborate to produce innovative research. Sustainable strategies implemented by the PIIT were proposed. - Torre UNO Design of interiors and services infrastructure of corporative building. Site supervision of designed elements. Ro Colorado 306 (Mexico) Architectural design for housing project in the city centre of Monterrey. Project developed with constant contact with owner and engineering consultants. Desert Water Spirit (Puerta de Torren, Mexico) Project competition for a sculptural landmark in the entrance of the city. Santander Latin America Masters Scholarship 2010 Awarded by the University of Nottingham for masters degree studies UDEM Academic Excellence Scholarship 2001 Award covered 80% of tuition fee for the Bachelor`s degree.
