This guide can be useful for anyone wanting to use TAPS to manage auto registered phones but it is focused on environments that do not have a UCCX server for
purposes other than TAPS. We will be creating a UCCX virtual machine.

UCCX needs a call controll goup in order to communicate with CUCM. This process will create CTI ports on the CUCM system. This step may not be necessary if
you are not using a new implementation of UCCX. There may already be a Call Control Group Defined.

Every CTI port connection behaves like a virtual IP phone. The UCCX system accepts calls, makes calls, plays prompts, etc.. using the CTI ports.

Create phones using BAT and check the option dummy mac-address
Upload the bat file (csv) using the Bulk Tool
Connect a phone, wait for registration (automatic)
Call the trigger for TAPS
The script will ask you to enter the new directory number , confirm phone DN, wait for phone to reload.
