4. FIRST AID MEASURES

General information: Inhalation: Avoid further contact with the substance and immediately remove clothing soiled by product. Contaminated clothing should be washed before reuse. Remove person from immediate source of exposure to fresh air. If that victim is not breathing, provide artificial respiration or oxygen supply. Get medical attention immediately. Immediately wash with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention. Rinse opened eye with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting! Seek medical advice.

Skin contact: Eye contact: Ingestion:

Inform doctor of the causes of damage and if possible show the label or MSDS. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. See item 8. Wear protective clothing. Safety showers and eyewash facilities should be provided.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media: Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: Special exposure hazards: Special protective equipment for firefighters: The product itself is not flammable; take extinguishing action appropriate to the fire in the surroundings. Not known. In extreme heat or contact with metals hydrochloric acid may react to liberate highly flammable hydrogen gas. Keep containers cool by water spray. Approved self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing.

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal precautions: Environmental precautions: Methods for cleaning up: Wear protective equipment. See item 8. Ensure adequate ventilation in the spill area. Keep unprotected people away. Do not allow to enter sewers/surface or ground water. Neutralize the spill with the soda or lime or absorb with inert liquid binding material (sand, universal binders, acid binders). Pick up mechanically. Dispose contaminated material as waste according to item 13. After removal wash spill area with plenty of water.

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

7.1. Handling Specify precautions: Technical measures: 7.2. Storage Specify the conditions for safe storage: Store in cool, dry conditions away from incompatible materials (see item 10). Provide ventilation. Keep containers tightly closed. The maximum filling quantity of tank and packaging is 95% of volume. Tanks and containers must be of suitable material, resistant to the acids. Hydrochloric acid corrodes most metals. Avoid contact with materials listed in the 10th chapter. Overfill prevention devices for containers and prevention devices for spills into the environment. / Packaging must be of a material resistant to acids. / Empower staff to safe manage with the chemical. When handling product, avoid bodily contact and use appropriate personal protective equipment. See item 8. Ventilation of rooms and if necessary, the local suction.

Incompatible materials: Special equipment: Prevention of static electricity: Special requirements: 7.3. Specific use(s):
