Windshield Survey The windshield survey took place in two phases.

The initial windshield survey was conducted on a Wednesday morning just before lunch. The second assessment occurred on the following Wednesday just after ten in the morning. There were no notable community events taking place at the time of either community assessment. During both visits, individuals within the community were very cooperative and excited to participate in the community assessment. Description of the Community The community area of focus was the 38128 zip code which is in direct proximity of the Frayser/Raleigh Senior Center. The Frayser/Raleigh Senior Center serves the 38128 community seniors community seniors. The area around the Senior Center appeared to be well maintained and in good condition both in landscape and in structure. The senior Center is surrounded by Raleigh Egypt Middle School and a few neighborhood homes. The area across from the Senior Center is an all treed area a quick stop corner store and BP gas station. Multifamily homes are present within the 38128 community including apartment complexes, townhomes, condos, and a few new model homes along the New Allen boundary. Mobile homes were also noted within the 38128 boundaries. During our assessment of the 38128 community, 5 parks were readily assessable. Allen Road Park, James Road Park, John F. Kennedy Park, and Harry C. Pierotti Park are all within the 38128 zip code. The majority of the community appeared to be accessible by the MATA bus services. transporting them. Signs were visible throughout the community indicating the bus stop locations. In
