1) A familiarization flight was carried out to expose and sensitize Mr Simms to SAR Ops. 2) To my knowledge, no payment was made to the Air Force. 3) The 5.1 hr flight was made up of two segments. The morning flight consisted of a simulated land search in the vicinity of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL (3.0 hrs). RTE Gander for lunch. The afternoon flight consisted of boat training with the CCGA vessel Shanaleen out of Foqo Island, NL (2.1 hrs). RTB Gander end of day. 4) In order to add passengers to the flight manifest using the MMA (Mission Management Authorization), all names must have an associated service number. In the case of nonmilitary personnel such as MP Sirr.rr.s or IMF technicians (ie. During maintenance test flights), a fictitious service number is used. Generally the lowest rank is used (Pte) as it can be selected from a drop down menu. Further investigation reveals that rank is not required, and the field can be left blank. For your jnio.
