Software release 2.25 for SAILOR & EasyTrack Mini-C.

Subject: Please be informed that a new version 2.25 has been released. Transceiver software version 2.25 will replace:

1. Version 2.24 for TT-3026C mini-C GMDSS. 2. Version 2.24 for TT-3026 L/M/S/D 3. Version 2.21 for SSAS. Priority: MEDIUM: It is recommended to apply this change / initiative to all units in stock. For units sold it is recommended to apply this change / initiative next time the system(s) is inspected.

Software changes: Support for new GPS module (Navman Jupiter 32) Print-out of warnings limited: Antenna blocked, hardware errors, and position errors now only printed once when they occur. They are still shown the regularly on the 3606 terminal display. Stored infos are removed on start-up. This prevents printing of old and irrelevant information when powered up.

Action: Procedure for downloading new version into SAILOR & EasyTrack Mini-C :

1.Switch off the mini-C and connect a computer via serial interface. 2. Start a terminal emulator application on the computer. In the following Windows HyperTerminal will be described. At Connect using: choose Com1.

3.Set the port settings to: 38400, 8, None, 1, Hardware. Note that these settings must be selected. Close HyperTerminal and restart HyperTerminal or select onhook / offhook. 4. Select send file in the transfer menu. Make sure that the computer is connected to the transceiver and the communication parameters are correct (see above). 5. Select the file to be downloaded to the transceiver and select file transfer protocol 1K Xmodem. The file should be located on a local disk-drive. Press <alt> s or click on the Send button.

When the software download procedure is finished, the mini-C will reboot using the same communication parameters as before the download.

6. Change the parameters in HyperTerminal back to the settings as before the download and restart HyperTerminal - or select onhook / offhook.

7. Switch the mini-C off and on. The normal startup of mini-C will be seen.
