Pastors Notes By the time you read this, Im starting my 2nd day in Honduras. THANK YOU for allowing me to be your representative and ambassador for Woodruff Church of God. I promise to represent the Savior and you to the best of my ability. THANK YOU. for giving the great missions offering several weeks ago. Money has continued to trickle in and we are over $10,500 for that offering. PRAISE THE LORD!!! THANK YOU.. for praying for me while Im gone. Pray that Gods hand of protection will be on us. Pray that we will be effective in helping to train the pastors. Pray that souls will be won during the 3 services. Pray that the body of Christ in Honduras will be encouraged. THANK YOU. to the Wednesday night childrens classes for making cards for me to put in the missions bags. I want to especially thank Lynette Tucker and her class for making me the bag to take with me. It had different objects wrapped in the bag along with a prayer attached to each one. WHAT A BLESSING!!!!! Thank you, thank you , thank you! I hope that everything will go smooth while Im gone, but should you need someone, Pastor Jason Fowler will be in charge. Our other staff are also available (Pastor Shealy and Rev. Buster Ball).
If you read this on Tuesday, then we are on day 28 of our fast. Only 12 more days to go!!! You can make it! I know its been hard and youve probably had times when youve been tempted to quit or cheat. But youve held on and remained faithful. Remember, its the afterward that will make this worthwhile. The first night of Revival, March 10th, we will be declaring the fast over and have a hallelujah shouting time!!!!! I cant wait for that celebration and the beginning of revival. ARE YOU READY?

Please dont forget to be in prayer about our upcoming Revival Services in March. Please call Rev. Eddie Allen & Rev. Joel Talleys name in prayer. Pray that God will direct them to deliver the Word from the Lord WE need. God is moving in our midst and we need the directing Word of the Lord. Im SO EXCITED!!!!!!! Please be in service this Wednesday night. Pastor Shealy will be finishing up the messages hes been bringing on growing up in the Lord. The messages have been excellent and most of all timely for this day and time. You need to be in the service. BE THERE Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

I want to encourage ALL men to be part of the Men of Resolution meetings. We had a great time this past Saturday morning. 25 men came together at 8:00 AM to be part of studying and agreeing to become the best man, husband & father they can be. Even if you are not married, you still need to resolve to the best MAN you can be!!!! Bro. Jason Hayes is offering make up classes so if you werent there, youve got time to make that up and catch up with us. All the men that go through ALL the classes will be part of the RESOLUTION SERVICE on Fathers Day.

This past Thursday evening we had one of our best attended and most exciting JOY CLUB meetings ever. Congratulations to Team Leaders John and Jeanne Nemitz and all their team for doing such an excellent job! We are already looking forward to our next meeting on March 2nd . Harold and June Grubbs along with Janet Sloan will be our Team Leaders and we will be having a Breakfast meal. Make your plans now to attend.

Thursday March 1 will be our next monthly Band of Brothers meeting. Join us as we continue our study of the Point Man book. We will continue to study how we are the Point Men for our families. Join us for this time of study, fellowship, and food. We need you! MEN OF RESOLUTION! We had our first session for our Resolution Ceremony this past Saturday morning. Twenty-six men were there resolving to be better fathers and better husbands. If you missed this past Saturday, we will have a makeup session. I will be in contact with you about the makeup session. If you would still like to be a part of this and have not yet signed up, please contact Jason Hayes at 621-9025.

Band of Brothers continues to sell comforters, curtains, and shams. If you are interested, please see Jason Hayes, Danny Knight, or Bobby Brown. Prices are listed below. You can also see a sample of each item on the table in the lobby. Half of the proceeds will go to the building fund and the other half will go to the Band of Brothers. FREED Open Meeting, Tues, March 6 We will have as guest speaker, Pastor Andre Tate, Assoc. Pastor, New Life Deliverance Worship Center in Spartanburg, SC (snacks served at 6pm; meeting at 6:30pm). Andres granddad took him to church, but he died when Andre was very young at which time Andre got involved in both using and selling drugs. His lifestyle ended him up in prison more than once, but the last time it brought him to "surrender" to the Lord. His story is, "God can do anything and everything IF we believe and surrender our lives to Him." He has shared the gospel in 3 countries and is getting his Masters in Theology. "WEIGH TO GO," a weight loss and healthy living support group meets every Tuesday at 6pm for optional weigh in followed by the meeting at 6:30pm in the classrooms underneath the sanctuary behind the church; it is mainly for support and encouragement. If you want to know more about this group, please contact Darryl Crowe 670-9305.
