Attention Mr. Andrew Chaplin, Clerk of the House of Commons

RE: PREVIOUS LEGISLATURE STUDY

IMMIGRATION CONSULTANTS HOUSE OF COMMONS INVESTIGATION DECISION
of June 12, 2008 report

Dear Mr. Chaplin,

. Further to your telephone conversation with CSIP CEO Mrs. Mireille Gauthier, I would
appreciate your requesting the Committee and its members, to examine the question of
CSIC concerning the recent House of Commons study and subsequent recommendations of
June 12, 2008 report regarding the future of immigration consultants,

Would you also be so kind as to forward this request from the Canadian Society of Immigration
Practitioners (CSIP) to the Committee, so that the Committee can examine the governance of the
Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC), as soon as possible.

I would greatly appreciating being informed of your intentions in this matter, so that I may
reassure my members accordingly. I also remain at your disposal for complimentary information

Yours very truly,
