2012 Hard Conversion refers to a conversion where one-to -one correspondence is made between the altered contents in 2011-version Chinese Import & Export Tariffs and those in its 2012 version; 2012 Soft Conversion refers to a conversion where appropriate adjustments are made to the alterations under 2012s hard conversion upon their conversion into Chinese Import & Export Tariffs in the light of Chinas taxation and trade policies, duty rates, import/export volume, and so on.
