Closing Times Commissionable Preprint Rates, Packaging & Shipping Instructions

Copy deadlines for the Daily Republic are 3 weekdays prior at 5:00 p.m. These deadlines are subject to change for special publications in weeks that include holidays, etc. Commissionable Preprint Rates: Single Sheet..........................................$48.13 per m (not to exceed 8.5 x 11) Tab or Standard.................................$68.40 per m Add $2.40 per four tab pages over 16 pages, or $2.40 per two standard pages over 8 pages. Add $2.40 per thousand for zoning. PREPRINT PACKAGING AND DELIVERY Preprints must be scheduled 10 days in advance and carry proper supplement line. Preprints must be in house 7 days prior to inserting. All inserting done mechanically in plant prior to distribution for home delivery. Preprints are accepted Monday through Friday. PACKING Preprinted supplements must be delivered in bonded stacks on non-returnable skids or pallets. Skids will not measure over 48 long. Skids must be packed so that they do not exceed 5 in height. Skids may not exceed 2800 pounds. Wire bundles of preprinted supplements will not be accepted. A minimum 4 floor clearance is required. CARTONS Cartons must be fully packed or dunnaged internally. Each carton should be packed with the same quantity and count. All cartons must be strapped on skids or pallets and each carton must be marked with the quantity of preprints it contains, the name of the newspaper, and the date of distribution.
