How to Archive Material Master Some Simple Steps

1. Create Archive Files


In this example, we will be archiving Material Master which has been marked for deletion. Transaction for Archive is SARA.

Enter Archiving object

Select MM_MATNR from the dropdown list

Click Write

Enter ZDEL_168B_FZ

Remarks Anything that makes sense you should enter

1. Fill in Variant ZDEL_168B_FZ (something makes sense to you) 2. Click Maintain

Last but not least, click DELETE

Click Archive Selection

3. To Know Where the Data Were Stored

1. Go to TCode SARA 2. Find Archiving Object 3. Click Write

Click Archive Directory

See the red box is the directory that holds the archives

1. Go TCode AL11 2. Select the Directory as seen earlier
