The Visual Identity Guidelines book is created to ensure right representation of Corporate identity and its values within multimedia world. It will support, initiate, shape and polarize Your original creativity and innovation, as well as reveal the rules and principles for identity reproduction of Wind Rose Resort Park. Please read it and keep it near. That way, we will keep visual integrity for those who are living from and for high standards, like the audience participating on this expectation.
Corporate Identity
This MUST be the only logo to be branded or used by the Wind Rose internally or externally. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES must the above logo be recreated digitally or otherwise. The corporate identity will be supplied on request through corporate website www.windrose.me

Wherever the logo is printed in five colours the corporate Pantone colours must be used. When the logo and branding is printed out of four colour process, apply the CMYK breakdowns for both corporate colours. The RGB and WEB breakdowns are for use when applying the logo or branding to electronic communications, for example websites, emails or powerpoint presentations. RAL specifications are given for colour used on signage, vehicles and uniforms.

All CMYK equivalents stated are from the Pantone solid to process guide coated and they vary with older specifiers produced. Pantone recommend printing with a line screen of 175lpi round dot.
Logo Usage
Correct usage This may seem obvious but it is critical that the logo appears in its correct proportions. The logo must always appear as shown the Colour, Typography and the Symbol.

Incorrect usage Under no circumstances can the logo be applied elongated, stretched, skewed, have any effect like perspective or colours be swapped round.
Five/four colour version The corporate Five/Four colour version of the logo must sit on a white background otherwise you may use the logo in one of the Corporate tint in Mono colour version.
Mono colour versions Due to budgets there will be occasions when single colour print is required. The ONLY REASON for using a logo in any of the Mono colours is if you need to produce a single colour piece of communications. The Mono coloured logo MUST NOT be used when printing in four colour process, the five/four colour logo must then be applied. When applying the logo and branding in a single colour the designer MUST use either the Corporate Red, Yellow, Blue, Green or Black colour. The preferred choice is left open.

Reversal versions Due to various background situations there will be occasions when Reversal usage will be the only solution to place over Imagery or tints.

Correct usage When the logo is to sit on a coloured background the reversed logo may be applied. This is dependant on the strength or weight of the chosen colour but it must fall within a comparable tint range of 100% - 40% Black. This range is also applicable when applying the reversed logo above an image.

Incorrect usage The reversed logo must only appear in solid white and under no circumstances must be changed to a five/four colour version as illustrated here. If the background colour is below a 40% tint of black, the reversed logo must not be used. If the background images strength is too weak to be able to read the logo effectively the reversed logo must not be used.

100 % Five/Four colour version The corporate Five/Four colour version of the logo MUST SITON A WHITE BACKGROUND. This is due to the two colour primary branding having maximum impact on a white background. Mono Colour Versions When printing or designing a single colour piece of communication, the following rules apply when placing a mono logo over an image: 0%-40% A solid logo must be applied for Corporate Red, Yellow and Green. For over 40% the reversed logo must be used. For Corporate Blue and Black solid logo must be applied for 0%-30%. For over 30% the reversed logo must be used.

Its mandatory usage is for Corporate Slogan localization. It should be used observingly, taking care on its legibility and ligatures. Baker Script presented will help to improve the Natural Style and quality of texts overall.

Rotis San Serif must be used for all designed and printed communications material. The Rotis San Serif family has been chosen for Wind Roses corporate font and must be used as the primary typeface. Rotis San Serif Std is a very clear and legible face, available in a variety of different styles. The variety of styles provides flexibility and means clarity can be maintained at all different sizes, from the smallest advert to the largest sign. There are no restrictions except Rotis San Serif must be used. Obviously text treatment will not be appropriate for large pieces of information like body copy or general headings. The general rule is to keep the typographic elements clean and uncluttered to communicate quickly and effectively.

The Verdana family is to be used for electronic communications including the website, intranet, email updates and Powerpoint presentations. The reason for choosing Verdana font for all electronic communications is due to high on screen legibility at any size. Verdana is a system typeface on PCs and Apple Macs which means that a consistent look and feel can be created and maintained outside of the Wind Rose Resort Park

Clear space For the Wind Rose Resort Park logo to communicate effectively, it should not be crowded or overpowered by other elements. This clear space is shown opposite and clearly illustrates an invisible exclusion zone around the logo. The actual dimensions of this area are determined by the size of the logo but are equal to the height of the word Wind Rose element within the logo.

Minimum size Once again it is essential to let the logo communicate effectively, so a minimum size has been set of 20mm in height. Any smaller and the typographic elements become less legible.

Construction It is always good to know how the Corporate Logotype is constructed. Knowing the relations will help us to determine original Coroprate Logotype. The Height of the first letter of the Wind Rose will serve for index spacing and will show relations in sizes between construction elements. The Logotype should not be reconstructed in any case and all artwork bearing the Wind Rose Logotype symbol must be provided to the designer / production in electronic form.

Symbol Usage
Symbol Usage Symbol is essential part of the logotype and should not be used witout other typografic elements. Howewer it could be used with moderation only for background abstraction purposes. Mandatory usage will support maximum half of the symbol body to appear on the layout, as shown.

Primary Branding
Primary Branding Device When designing a successful look and feel or branding, it is not just a matter of rubber stamping the logo onto all communications. Consistency is the key to effective branding, with the aim that the general public associates the new branding with a service or message provided. The curved swoosh and logo unit should be seen and used as the primary branding device for delivering the corporate identity in a consistent manner. The swoosh and logo are stylish representation represent of the winds that are running through the district. The blue area is the image area where an illustration, photograph, montage or solid colour would sit. Templates are available on demand.
