Transferring Existing Phone Numbers to ACN Digital Phone Service in AT&T Markets

Scenario 1

Customer Currently has AT&T Local & Long Distance with NO INTERNET

OPTION 1 (Digital Phone Service with cable Internet):


STEP 1: Place order for cable Internet through IBO Direct Store (where available), if not available through IBO Direct Store, place order with local cable provider STEP 2: AFTER Internet is installed (typically 5-10 business days), place order to transfer number to ACN Digital Phone Service through IBO Direct Store. Customer will receive equipment with a temporary phone number in 2-3 business days. (Telephone number transfer will be complete in approximately 7-10 business days) STEP 3: Connect Digital Phone Service equipment to cable Internet using the instruction guide provided

OPTION 2 (Digital Phone Service with AT&T DSL/U-verse):


STEP 1: Place order for AT&T DSL/U-verse Internet through IBO Direct Store STEP 2: AFTER Internet is installed (typically 5-10 business days), place order to transfer number to ACN Digital Phone Service through IBO Direct Store. Customer will receive equipment with a temporary phone number in 2-3 business days. (Telephone number transfer will be complete in approximately 7-10 business days) STEP 3: Connect Digital Phone Service equipment to DSL/U-verse using the instruction guide provided Remember: ACN Digital Phone Service will not work without a high speed Internet connection

Customer currently has AT&T Local & Long Distance with CABLE INTERNET

ORDERING STEPS (Keep existing cable Internet):


STEP 1: Place order to transfer number to ACN Digital Phone Service through IBO Direct Store. Customer will receive equipment with a temporary phone number in 2-3 business days. (Telephone number transfer will be complete in approximately 7-10 business days) STEP 2: Connect Digital Phone Service equipment to cable Internet using the instruction guide provided

OPTIONAL (Replace cable Internet with AT&T DSL/U-verse):


STEP 1: Place order to transfer number to ACN Digital Phone Service through IBO Direct Store. Customer will receive equipment with a temporary phone number in 2-3 business days. (Telephone number transfer will be complete in approximately 7-10 business days) STEP 2: Place order for Internet DSL/U-verse through IBO Direct Store STEP 3: Connect Digital Phone Service equipment to cable Internet using the instruction guide provided STEP 4: AFTER DSL/U-verse is installed (typically 5-10 business days), connect Digital Phone Service equipment to DSL/U-verse using the instruction guide provided STEP 5: AFTER Digital Phone Service and DSL/U-verse are active, customer is responsible for canceling cable Internet

Customer currently has AT&T Local & Long Distance with DSL/U-VERSE INTERNET

ORDERING STEPS in Bellsouth territory ONLY AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN (Keep existing DSL/U-verse):
STEP 1: Customer must request AT&T to separate local and long distance from DSL/U-verse (Request separate accounts) NOTE: Prepare customer that AT&T will try to retain customer STEP 2: AFTER DSL/U-verse is separated (typically 7-21 business days), place order to transfer number to ACN Digital Phone Service through IBO Direct Store. Customer will receive equipment with a temporary phone number in 2-3 business days. (Telephone number transfer will be complete in approximately 7-10 business days) STEP 3: Connect Digital Phone Service equipment to DSL/U-verse using the instruction guide provided

ORDERING STEPS IN ALL OTHER AT&T TERRITORIES (Keep existing DSL/U-verse):


STEP 1: Place order to transfer number to ACN Digital Phone Service through IBO Direct Store. Customer will receive equipment with a temporary phone number in 2-3 business days. (Telephone number transfer will be complete in approximately 7-10 business days and AT&T will automatically separate DSL/U-verse and bill it separately) STEP 2: Connect Digital Phone Service equipment to DSL/U-verse using the instruction guide provided

OPTIONAL (Replace AT&T DSL/U-verse with cable Internet):


STEP 1: Place order for cable Internet through IBO Direct Store (where available), if not available through IBO Direct Store, place order with local cable provider STEP 2: AFTER cable Internet is installed, place order to transfer number to Digital Phone Service through IBO Direct Store*. Customer will receive equipment with a temporary phone number in 2-3 business days. (Telephone number transfer will be complete in approximately 7-10 business days) STEP 3: Connect Digital Phone Service equipment to cable Internet using the instruction guide provided STEP 4: AFTER Digital Phone Service and cable Internet are active, customer is responsible for canceling DSL/U-verse Internet*
*AT&T will automatically disconnect the Internet when order is processed in the Bellsouth territory only

ORDERING TIPS:
Customer needs to contact AT&T to verify that they are not under contract with their phone service and/or Internet before placing an order to transfer their telephone number and/or change their Internet service Internet installation timeframe we state is typically 5-10 business days, which is an average; the actual number of business days depends on when the customer schedules the installation to take place
