AcademicProjects:
It involves modeling of the extrusion process and its thermal heat transfer analysis to predict the preheating temperature of Aluminium billet during extrusion. Then experiments would be conducted to check the accuracy of the model and for refining it further.

Worked on the project of producing Bio-Diesel from the oil expelled from the seeds of Amaltash tree. Designed a system, using which the oil content of any organic matter, can be measured accurately from a very small quantity in a small span of time.

Study and analysis to decide the storage, conveying capacities, and the manufacturing techniques being used in backward processes of soap manufacturing so as to meet the optimal capacity of the plant, including a study of the pneumatic noodle conveying system, and the heat transfer analysis of the DFA plants Cooling system.

WhatIachieved:

A PPI (Pre Placement Interview) Offer by HLL in recognition of my efforts. Was successful in reducing the noodle temperature from 64 degrees to 44 degrees. Got my suggestions included in the factory budgeting proposal for the next year, like flow meters for BLS pump, extra tank for more weathering time and the re-routing of the conveying system.

The manual was used by the centre while setting up the HCNG plant.

I was a finalist at the Tryst 2006 (All India Technical Fest organized by IIT Delhi) Technical paper session where I presented this work.

Quizzing- Member of the Hostel Quizzing Team, also represented and lead my

school at various inter-school quizzing events.

Cricket- Was a prominent member of the School Cricket team for zonal
competitions.

Water Conservation- Have always been into the area of Water Conservation, due
to the crises that I have seen. Have done two projects in this field-

Design of an alternative Flush Arrangement System (Grade A-) (Jan-

April 2005) - Designed an alternative flush system by eliminating the flush tank from
the system for water conservation as it used waste water. The project was exhibited at I2TECH 2005 and was well appreciated for its uniqueness and innovation.

Indian Water Resources Society (IWRS), Delhi, May-July (2004)-

IWRS is an NGO active in the field of water resource conservation. The work was to present both side of the water conservation movements of India. I was involved in the study of the history of various water conservation movements in India, like the Narmada Bachao Andolan, The Tehri Project, and the Silent Valley Project.

Completed a Basic French Course offered by the Humanities Department, IIT Delhi. Hobbies include Reading, music and sports, especially cricket, soccer and lawn tennis.
