Describes the development of the Pony Express, how it changed America, and why it ended after eighteen months. This book is good for social studies because it teaches students about the Pony Express it an easy to read fashion.

This book is good for social studies because it could be used to teach students about each state. It is appealing because it tells a story as it goes along.
