In this article the author said that there are many parts and technologies involved in the process

of how TV works. The article tackles the main and the most important elements required in order for a TV to work. There are three major ways to receive TV signals. Also the article tackles TV Technology Elements that allow you to view any type of media and reproduce audio signals.

The main and the most important elements required in order for a TV to work include: A video source, an audio source, a transmitter, a receiver, a display device, a sound device. The video Source is the image and program. It can be a TV show, a movie, or news program. Usually the video source has already been recorded by camera. The Audio Source can be in the form of mono, stereo or digital. The Transmitter is necessary for broadcast TV companies that broadcast free signals to viewers in their area. It transmits the video and the audio signals over the air waves which are electrical in nature and are transformed into radio waves. The Receiver is able to grab radio waves and process them back into audio and video electrical signals that can be now played on your TV set. The Display Device: its usually a TV set. Its able to receive electrical signals and the Sound Device which is built into TV set in the form of speakers. There are Three major ways to receive TV signals such as : Broadcast Television, Satellite TV, Cable TV. The Broadcast Television: it's defined as TV signals which are transmitted from terrestrial source usually a transmission tower. Most of broadcast TV are free to anyone. The Satellite TV: Satellite TV transmits signals from satellites orbiting the earth. These signals are usually digital and encoded and compressed and they must be decoded or unencrypted and decompressed to view on a TV set. This service requires viewers to pay a service fee. TheCable TV: TV signals are collected from a certain point and sent from the cable company directly to your home via cable. Cable types used are copper or fiber optic. As for the TV Technology Elements that allow you to view any type of media and reproduce audio signals, they include: Cathode Ray Tube, Color Process, Antenna. The Cathode Ray Tube is generally called CRT and it's a vacuum tube, inside it there are electrons that move rapidly from one field to another. There electrons stream from a positive to negative electric field onto the screen created with phosphor that glows when these electrons hit the screen creating image. TV's create images by creating small pixels or dots on the screen. The Color Process; within the cathode ray tube is a beam that shoots electrons onto a screen which is coated with Phosphor. color TV's have three beams; red, blue and green. Color TV's also have one screen which you view your image from, but behind this screen is a sheet of phosphor. Now the question is How to Create Color? The color TV creates colors by mixing both the three types of color beams (red beam, blue beam, and green beam) and the three types of color sheets (red sheet, blue sheet and green sheet). Finally the Antenna is usually required to pick up and receive TV broadcast signals. In order to capture a strong TV broadcast signal, an antenna is used. Antennas are usually composed of materials that can capture radio frequencies (usually metal). They are normally planted on the roofs of houses or on top of a structure. To conclude, the process required in order for a TV to work is complicated and requires many elements, devices and technologies. The articles has dealt with each in details.
