What Does it Do?

shake2u by Wenjoy is a powerful iPhone file transfer app that allows you to share files over a WiFi network, or by way of Bluetooth connection, between two iOS devices such as an iPhone, iPad, or iPod. Its a lot like the Bump contact sharing application with even more functionality. Not only can you share contacts, you can also share photos, videos, contacts, and files like pdfs, excel spreadsheets, etcNo more worrying about video file size being too large. Just send it from one person to another with the shake2u app.

During my application testing I connected my iPhone to my wifes iPhone. Once it was connected we were able to transfer several photos and a video without any trouble at all. In fact it was so easy I thought for a second that it wasnt working. Then I looked and all the files were there. After that I tried out several other transfers of files, contacts, and a business card. All transfers worked perfectly and for the most part flawlessly. I say for the most part because there was one issue with a rather huge 197 meg video I tried to transfer. It got about 16MB through and then lost connection. This could have been caused by my WiFi so I wouldnt totally put the blame on the application. That was the only issue I had using this app. Otherwise it was perfect!

Under the hood

The shake2u settings are pretty straightforward and easy to understand. Theres iTunes File sharing which allows you to connect to iTunes and share music files. You can protect the file sharing app with a 4 digit code and tell it to always confirm before connecting. You can see devices connected to your device as well as talk to technical support. There is also a social email setting, version, about, and a link to the Wenjoy website. iPhone App Review Guy Rating: 5 out of 5 stars. Easy iPhone file transfer without any hassles. How does it work? Simple iPhone File Sharing

Its pretty much a just a simple, easy to use iPhone file sharing application. To connect two devices together its very simple. First you make sure both devices are either connected to the same WiFi network or both have Bluetooth connectivity turned on. Then you simply shake each device and poof they are connected. Once the devices are connected either device can choose a file to share with the other device. Choose from files, photos, videos, or contacts. Even share your very own iPhone business card with the other device all with just a flick of the wrist or push of a button. Once you have chosen your file, a transfer window pops up to let you know the transfer is taking place. However this may not be on the screen long because with some files the transfer is so fast it doesnt have

The Problems
ShakeBox has two problems in my opinion. The first is that Graphically its kind of boring and drab. Very dark colors and every screen looks pretty much the same. Secondly is the idea of the app itself. Is there really a need for an app like this? Do people really have that many problems making decisions that they need some kind of random decision generator to make their decisions for them? It all seems too novelty app to me. iPhone App Review Guy Rating: 3 out of 5 I gave the app 3 stars because it does what it was meant to do. However I didnt give it a higher rating because of the graphics are a little dark and dreary as well as the fact that I think the app is not really necessary. Its sort of silly and unless you agree to go with exactly what the app says it doesnt make deciding on something any easier. I would pass and just talk to a friend. Then go have a beer! Have you and your significant other every been driving around looking for something to do and couldnt decide where to go? These annoying decisions can sometimes be a problem for everyone at one time or another. But they dont have to be. Now theres an app for that. ShakeBox is what i would call a customizable decision making iPhone app. It comes with a predefined set of decisions. Things like Dice, Lunch, Bingo, Color, etc.each decision has a set of balls And by set of balls Im actually referring to a one ball for each option that is part of your decision. So if youre talking lunch you would have a ball for burgers, a ball for chicken, a ball for subway, a ball for Mickey Ds, etc.If youre referring to a heads or tails decision you would see two balls on the screen, one heads and one tails. You can shake your iPhone and pick one of the balls at random and it will be heads or tails just like flipping a coin. And thats it! Thats all this app does! Okay there is one other other thing. The one other thing you can do is create your own customized decisions. Add as many or as little options as you like and use it to help you make any of your decisions that you need to make.

First Words Professional by Learning Touch is one of many iPhone Apps that are geared towards kids. iPhone developers know that kids love the iPhone and they also love learning things. Put that all together in an iPhone app and you have a powerful tool that will not only entertain your little ones for hours but teach them as well. First Words Professional is just the app for this. Its fun, easy for little ones to use and colorful. I gave this app to my 3 year old a few times last week and each time she was totally enthralled by it. She played, had fun figuring out the letters, laughed at it, and most of all didnt get upset because it was too hard for her to use. She loved it. Thats all I needed! If a three year old loves it then Im thinking its a hit! And Im betting most parents will as well.

Phonics for babies

creation of this app. My only criticism of the settings would be that it would be great if they could allow parents to add words to the list of words kids are learning. I realize how difficult this would be based on all the really nice animation and graphics that goes into each word but its just a nice to have not a must have. Another things that would be nice is a way to download updates to it or buy more lessons for it in the future. iPhone App Review Guy Rating: 4 out of 5 stars. Keep track of your phsyical fitness workout routines and get in shape! $2.99 makes this app a reasonable offering that will cost you less than a coffee at Starbucks! One of the nice things about the First Worlds Professional app is the settings screens. From the settings screens parents can specify certain types of functionality based on what they would like their child to learn or their childs age and learning ability. Things like word order, the longest word, the order of the letters the app focuses on, letter hints, lowercase or uppercase, spelling speed, speech. Parents can also manage the words the app uses when their child pays for it. They can turn any word on or off should they want to make sure kids focus on certain words and not worry about words that they either already know or are too hard for them at the age they are. Everyone in your best whispering voiceIM BATMAN! Okay all weird whispering movie batmans aside this is the latest batman game for the iPhone and its available now! Not sure if you knew it but this game has you playing the caped crusader defending gotham city from the Joker and all his cohorts!! The Bat Signal is out and wants you to download this game now! But get your credit card out cuz its $5.99 but its so worth it!! What would Bruce Wayne do?

Shazam Encore
Shazam encore is the latest edition of the popular music identification software. This is the paid version that comes without ads and offers other improvements on an already fantastic app. So go to the app store and get the latest version if you are into that but remember kids you will need green for this one its $5.99

Gunman Clive
Wild west shooter with old school game play and some unique animation effects is a fun little shooter. Its definitely got some interesting content and will keep you busy for a few days if you like that kind of thing. $1.99 isnt a bad price either! Another great feature of Towers N Trolls are the special weapons youre allowed to use to fight off the hordes of angry trolls that want to attack your castle. You can use a power keg to do a wide area of damage, land mines that go off when monsters walk on them, and toxic gas which causes damage to all trolls when they walk through the cloud.

Bump Pay
Works just like the Bump information exchange app. This one allows you to pay somebody through paypal by bumping two phones together. Sweet! Best of all its FREE! One of ways Towers N Trolls is different that other tower defense games Ive played is the creation of Magic Rune stones. The rune stones add enhancements to your towers. Different colored rune stones do give different types of enhancements. In addition to power enhancing runestones there are gems that recharge special weapons, chests that contain treasures, and gold deposits that a player can tap to get gold nuggets so they can buy more towers and weapons. Towers N Trolls is a classic tower defense game that gives you just a little bit more than the average tower defense game and thats okay with me. Its a completely fun game to play that keeps you going level by level, map by map, and troll by troll. I truly believe that anyone who likes tower defense games will love this app! One of my favorite type of iPhone games is the classic tower defense game genre. Ive played many of the top tower defense games and also some of the worst!! So when i heard there was a new tower defense game called Towers N Trolls I was intrigued. I had to try it out. Well I have tried it and I am a believer! Towers N Trolls is a smash hit! A troll smashing good time! If youve played any tower defense game you know it usually works like this. The monsters come out of one or more sides and start marching down a road to your side. You must defend your side by placing towers along the road to stop the monsters on the way. In Towers N Trolls the monsters are trolls of all different shapes and sizes. These trolls move at different speeds and also deliver various levels of damage to your towers along the way. The game isnt very difficult but the damage to towers does add an increased level of difficulty thats a nice
