Exposure control parameters (according to instruction of MPiPS Dz.U (official journal) No 217, item 1833, 2002 with later amendments.) Mineral oils ( liquid phase aerosol ): NDS: 5 mg/ m3, NDSCh: 10 mg/ m3, NDSP: not defined DNEL: no data PNEC : no data Recommended methods of exposure assessment in the air: - PN-Z-04008-7:2002 Air purity protection -- Sampling methods -- Principles of air sampling in work place and interpretation of results - PN-Z-04108-6:2006 Air purity protection -- Determination of mineral oil (liquid phase aerosol) in work places by absorption spectrometry method in ultra-violet . -PN-Z-04108-5:2006 Air purity protection -- Tests for content of oils -- Determination of mineral oil (liquid phase of aerosol) in work places by absorption spectrometry method in infra-red Means ensuring the proper hygiene: General rules of hygiene should be followed: do not eat, do not drink, do not smoke during handling the product. Contaminated clothing should be immediately removed and changed. The product can be easily adsorbed through the skin. Not allowing to be doused with the product, especially when it comes to large body areas. Always wash hands with water and soap after finishing work.
Hydrol HLP-D 22, HLP-D 32, HLP-D 46, HLP-D 68 Oxidizing properties: Vapour pressure: Solubility in water and solvents: Distribution ratio n-octanol/water Density: Kinematic viscosity at 40C Explosion limits: Autoignition point: Evaporation rate: Corrosive properties: No data Negligible in normal use conditions. Insoluble in water. Soluble in hydrocarbon solvents. No data Approx. 871 kg/m3 19,8 74,8 mm2/s Not applicable Above 300C (may greatly depend on conditions, as e.g. presence of oxidants or well developed surface). No data Does not show corrosive properties.
Not irritant. Neutral or may result in slight skin irritation, redness or drying. Prolonged contact of the product with skin and not following the general work safety and hygiene rules may cause dermatologic problems. Dangerous case may occur when the oil under pressure penetrates skin and gets to subcutaneous tissues. Very low risk in normal use conditions. Inhaled mists or vapours may cause respiratory system and mucous membranes irritation. Little probability of direct exposure by suction occurs. Incidental exposure may occur during vomiting. Higher doses may cause severe pneumonological problems. No data
