4. FIRST AID MEASURES

Respiratory system: Skin: The risk of inhalation exists only in the case of the product forming a mist or being heated. Provide access of fresh air. If no recovery is observed, ensure medical assistance. Wash with plenty water with soap. Should an irritation develop, ensure medical assistance. If the skin is exposed to contact with high pressure mist, the product may penetrate into the organism. Should this occur, contact a physician even if no negative symptoms are

Hydrol HLP-D 22, HLP-D 32, HLP-D 46, HLP-D 68 observed. Rinse open eyes with water for 15 minutes. Should an irritation develop, ensure medical assistance. Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. If no recovery is observed, ensure medical assistance.

Eyes: Ingestion:

5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Recommended extinguishing media: Protective means: Unsuitable extinguishing media: Fire fighting hazards: Foam, water mist, dry extinguishing chemical powders, CO2, sand or soil only in the event of small fires. Complete protective clothing with individual self-contained breathing apparatus. Do not use condensed streams of water onto the burning liquid surface. It results in scattering the fire centres. Sprayed water or water mist may be applied for cooling. Vapours are generated in high temperatures which, when mixed with air and contact with a source of ignition may burn in the open space or explode in a contained room. Product vapours are heavier than air and may spread over long distances close to the ground level and, meeting a source of ignition (flame), they may cause ignition again. Highly dispersed product mist may ignite below the standardized flashpoint. Burning fluid may float on water surface. Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides and other health-hazardous gases.

Combustion products:

6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal (individual) protection measures: Environmental protection (precautions) large spills: Avoid contact with skin and eyes, use coated clothing and rubber-soled shoes. Contain large spills with sand, soil or absorbing material barriers. Collect the released material using equipment available and place it into a sealed, properly labelled container for further recovery or storage in a suitable place. The residue treat as a small spill. Collect the released residue having mixed the spill with soil, sand or another absorbent, using available equipment, and place it into a sealed, properly labelled container to be stored in a suitable place.

Environmental protection (precautions) small spills:

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE

HANDLING PROCEDURES: Use adequate ventilation in the cases of conditions resulting in vapour or mist User protection: generation. Apply all measures to limit the risk of contact, especially with used oil. Keep away from inflammable materials, food and drinks. During handling and storage, follow the general work safety and hygiene as well as fire rules and regulations, the use of protective chemical goggles and suitable protecting clothing is recommended. Empty containers and tanks may contain inflammable or explosive vapours. Explosion or fire protection (precautions): Welding, heating, cutting or drilling of tanks or containers with oil or its residue, after emptying, is prohibited. The residue of oil left behind in containers, as a result of high temperature, may generate explosive vapour mixture (oil mist) which may cause explosion. Clothing, paper and rags (cloth, lint) used to remove spilled oil, soaked with the oil, pose a fire hazard avoid accumulating such materials. Get them disposed of immediately after use following adequate precautions. Reduce fire hazard using machines and equipment in an appropriate way: Precautions: - to avoid spilling or splashing the oil over heated or live machinery parts. - to prevent oil mist generation especially in pressure systems, remembering that fire hazard increases when mist concentration reaches the level of approx. 45 g/m3. - to avoid prolonged or repeated contact of skin with the oil or oil-soaked clothes. - In the event of skin contact immediately wash the affected (soiled) place with plenty of water and soap. - Do not use abrasive (scouring) agents or kerosene solvents for body washing

Hydrol HLP-D 22, HLP-D 32, HLP-D 46, HLP-D 68 purposes. Immediately change the contaminated working clothing. Do not inhale vapour and/or mist. Avoid contact of the substance with strong oxidants. When handling the product, do not eat, drink or smoke. Use only hydrocarbon-resistant containers, connections and equipment.

STORAGE Conditions:

Store in room temperature, protect from contact with water or moisture, keep away from sources of ignition. Keep containers legibly labelled and sealed. Make efforts to prevent the release of the product to the ground and water. Avoid contact with oxidants. Contraindications: Store away from heating devices. Use hydrocarbon-resistant packaging (containers). Use of original manufacturers Packaging: containers is recommended. SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS: -

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION

Use well-ventilated rooms, if there is a risk of oil mist generation, use closed circulation systems and good ventilation. Skin protection: If a need occurs the protective masks, protective oil-resistant clothing and protective shoes (drums handling). Oil resistant protective gloves. Protective goggles, protective masks in case of exposure by splashing. Avoid contact with vapours - little probability of exposure by inhalation in normal conditions of use.

Eyes protection: Respiratory system protection:
