RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research can be defined as the search of knowledge, or any systematic investigation, with an open mind, to establish novel facts.

The primary purpose is discovering, interpreting and development of methods and systems for the advancement of human knowledge. Research as a systematic enquiry aimed at providing information to solve problem.

Research methodology is defined as a highly human activity used in the investigation of nature and matter and deals specifically with the manner in which data is collected, analyzed and interpreted.

Types of Research Methods

Qualitative Quantitative

Mixed Critical and action oriented

Data collection
Data collection depends on the research design (Primary Research or Secondary Research). Tutors India helps in a survey tool validation and also online and face to face data collection process. We help you to conduct surveys [in person Interviews: Formal to informal; structured to unstructured; focus group discussion, observations, self-administered questionnaire, diaries, citizen report cards, Delphi techniques, expert judgment, online surveys, secondary sources such as journals, newspaper articles, annual reports, government sources such as census, budgets, policies, procedures, etc.

There are two types of sources of data Collection:

Primary Research

Secondary Research

Primary research: - It includes the collecting of data that doesnt exist and that can be collected by questionnaire, interviews, case study, and focus group.

Secondary Research: - It can be collected from various publications on related subject, news papers, journals, magazines, and various internet sites.

SAMPLING

A process used in statistical analysis in which a predetermined number of observations will be taken from a larger population. The methodology used to sample from a large population. The methodology used to sample from a large population will depend on the type of analysis being performed, but will include

simple fandom sampling, systematic sampling and observational sampling.

SAMPLING METHOD

Mainly two types:-

Probability sampling

Non-probability sampling

Probability sampling:Probability samples are selected in such a way as to be representative of the population. They provide the most valid or credible results because they reflect the characteristics of the population from which they are selected (e.g., residents of a particular community, students at an elementary school, etc.). There are two types of probability samples:

Random Stratified

Non-probability sample:As they are not truly representative, non-probability samples are less desirable than probability samples. However, a researcher may not be able to obtain a random or stratified sample, or it may be too expensive. A researcher may not care about generalizing to a larger population. The validity of non-probability samples can be increased by trying to approximate random selection, and by eliminating as many sources of bias as possible.

The target population size: - 200 40% of total population would be taken as target population Population size:200 * 40% = 80 Questionnaire would be distributed to target population for proposed project.
