> Microsoft IT Academy Online Learning Program Soldiers who are CER eligible may enroll through their

Microsoft IT Academy Program to work towards a Microsoft Certification(s). There are three main career paths which can lead to various certifications: > Business Professional (MS Office Specialist), IT Professional (Support Tech, Enterprise Admin, Server Admin, System Admin, or Database Admin), or Professional Developer (Web Developer or Windows Developer).

Soldiers may take up to 3 courses at a time, and they have 150 days to complete each course. All of the course work/materials are completed online. Once a Soldier completes all the required courses for a particular certification (average 8-14 courses) they can register to take the certification exam at thousands of testing sites across the country. There is a cost to take the exam ($75-$150); however, the Soldier may use chap 31 benefits Attached you'll find a copy of the flyer, student guide, and authorization form. Since our Soldiers are not yet Veterans with a DD-214 and VA disability rating, they have asked we use the Authorization Form to confirm the Soldier is assigned to WTC and separating from the military. Soldiers can get started by visiting www.JOFDAV.com and registering. Once registered, they would send Mr. Corso a completed/signed Authorization Form. From there, the Soldier receives an access code which they enter at Microsoft's ITA site to enroll and begin taking courses.
