PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

January 2012 till date: Associated with NDC as Office Engineer. June-2010 to December 30, 2011: Worked with M/s Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited as Site Engineer and Office Manager on construction of 72MW Khan Khwar Hydro Power Project, Besham and was responsible for: Managing, supervising and monitoring the erection/ installation of Electro-Mechanical (E&M) Equipment of 34MW vertical shaft Frances Turbine units (02 Nos.), 04MW Pelton Wheel turbine unit (01 No.), 11KV/132KV Switchyard, Intake gates, 11KV Transmission Line from powerhouse to Weir Site and 11KV Housing Colony line alongwith all associated auxiliary and accessory equipment Supervised Erection Works and testing of 220kW and 50kW emergency diesel generating units at powerhouse and weir site respectively. Supervised Erection of overhead gantry cranes, elevator, HVAC system, CO2 Fireprotection system, compressed air system, dewatering & un-watering system, 230VDC battery system, cooling water system, service water system & firefighting hydrant system. Organizing, coordinating and resolving the problem pertaining to Electro-Mechanical (E&M) works to improve the work progress at project site such as consignment verification, inspection and Sub-Contracting with Suppliers etc. Supervised the Erection/ Installation testing and commissioning of 40MVA Unit Transformers, 10MVA Grid Transformer, Station and Unit Auxiliary Transformers, Current Transformers, Voltage Transformers, CVT's, Lightening arrestors, Circuit Breakers, Disconnecting switches, and earth switches etc.

Experience in the use of internationally recognized construction contract (e.g. FIDIC).

Supervised hydro-test of the hydraulic system & equipment installed in Powerhouse. Management & supervision of erection/installation communication and TV Satellite system. and commissioning of VHF

Inspection of material, spare parts and other miscellaneous E&M equipment prior to installation. Revision of drawings as per site requirement. Coordinating among Client, contractor, consultant, local and provincial administration. Correspondence with the Employer & Consultant. Preparing Daily and Monthly Progress Reports. Preparation of Monthly Presentations. Checking Pre-qualification of the sub-contractors.
