Introduction Abdul Aleem contractors and engineers Ltd. is a privately held construction company that specializes in Housing projects, Renovation, and Heavy Civil construction services. Was established in 1975 as a sole trader but now employs more than 20 people. Company was established under the guidance of late Mr. Abdul Shakoor, a very learned gentleman and a delightful human being, profoundly experienced and well know civil contractor in Doon city. In his lifetime he took charge of various high profile projects, completing them successfully and strengthening the relationship with all the clients. Abdul Aleem Contractors and engineers were established to carry out larger commercial, private sector & project management works. Its ethos & culture has its foundations on the longstanding core values of Mr. Abdul shakoors guidance. Honesty and integrity in all our relationships. Pride and caring in all we do. In few last years the group has carried out heavy construction work in different parts of Doon city and all the big projects and small houses has been successfully build and appreciated. We like to make sure our team has always got a good mixture of skills and equipment. You will always notice highlevel construction Skills and reasonable Manual Handling at our work places. We make sure health and safety of staff is not compromised, therefore our team will always have first aid ready in case of any emergencies. The company has encouraged & assisted sub-contractors in achieving onsite Assessment & Training in their particular trade. They are encouraged & supported to employ apprentices & develop their training needs. We also make sure that all our sites our supervised properly. Therefore each site is provided with a supervisor who controls the entire on site activity. Our company works on with material covered area rate. Our company hand over customer with a complete house. Our complete house include doors, windows, floors, electrical fittings, plumbing, modular switches, painting, polishing all the woodwork (wood used- teak for doors and windows and saal wood for chokhat), modular kitchen with granite top working platform and complete sanitary work. Few of the exclusions are (boundary wall, main gate, soak pit and septic tank, water tank and any other external work apart from the main building. Our company also provides customers with the facility of post construction services for 6 months.

Requirements can vary from project to project and customer to customer, therefore any facility offered depends on the binding terms of contract duly signed by the both parties.

Projects
Industrial Unit, Dehradun industrial state Company has build a small turpentine oil unit including demolition of original & re-building of high spec ground floor & 1st floor offices and toilets. Work included (Designing, Architectural advise, assistance in making and clearing layout maps from DDA (Dehradun development authority) Wood work, Electric work, sanitary work, Iron work etc.) New Build Construction of two office units in local stone Refurbishment & Alterations Old stable block into three self-contained offices, old estate offices and workshop into five offices. Commercial/Houses Refurbishment work, Drona Hotel, Dehradun. External and Internal refurbishment of 5 storied hotel. The project required a complete white wash of all external walls of Hotel and all the rooms internally through special color coating. Few of the roofs were stripped, the timberwork overhauled & re- slated. All works to this premises were carried out whilst the premises was occupied and continued to trade. Services rendered to Indian Army personnel -Colonel Thakur Kalidas road, Dehradun. Col. Thakur owned around 1.5 bigah of land. Half of it had an old building and half of it used as garden. New building was built in his 0.5 bigah of land with covered area over

2500sqft. Works were carried out whilst family in old building continued living and the place occupied. A really nice garden before the entrance was built and developed with all associated external works. -Lt.Col. Tiwari - Gangotrii awaas, Dehradun. Construction of a new build bungalow in the Colony of Gangotrii awaas (Total land 1 bigah, covered area 300sqft). This Concrete framed building was finished in stone and render. The three en-suite bed roomed property incorporated a central dining room prayer room, study, kitchen area, lounge and some open constructed area. A road system and gardens were constructed to link in with the surrounding layout of the grounds. -Colonel Sarkar - Neshvilla road, Dehradun. This building was given an addition with all new first floor. Ground floor house was extended and converted into a First floor two bed roomed stone built property with en-suite shower rooms, lounge, kitchen and boot room. The domestic water and electricity system were arranged with already present source on the site. The extensions to the property included extensive stonewalling and stone flagstone patios and paths. Mr. Gwal (Director of education, Uttarakhand). Jogi wala bypass, Dehradun. This property is located on a very restricted town center site. A farm track and access system had to be constructed prior to work commencing on this property. Work was carried out without mains services, in poor weather conditions & with difficult delivery access. The woodwork was manufactured with teak wood & all joinery was produced by time served skilled craftsmen. The property now consists of three bedrooms, kitchen, larder, study, lounge, hallway and bathrooms. External works included extensive dry stone walling, extensive development around the site for accessing the site, walls and patios.

Land 12 bigah, retaining wall Height 5ft under and 5 ft above ground) A heavy Concrete and stone retaining wall was built to provide a durable solution that was required due to in contact soil exposed to constant wetting and drying. Concrete and stones was used as it does not rot and is resistant to termites. Retaining wall was structure designed and constructed to resist the lateral pressure of soil when there is a desired change in ground elevation that exceeds the angle of repose of the soil. Tibettan resettlement Project. Mangluwala. Dehradun. Land -100 bigah, 140 houses covered area 500sqft each (approx.) A turnkey project. A project constructed in remote hills of Mangluwala village, Dehradun. Innovative modern design elements including triangle systems of room, which saves space, wooden walls and roof for warm winters and cold summers and space saving stairs. The internal structure of the building was strengthened and organized by web wooden design so that building remained structurally sound. Design & construction have paid great attention to the security & safety of its clients, reaching the core standards level. Secure garden areas and car parks with lot of open space for fresh air were also constructed as external works. External works also consisted of landscaping, driveways & road infrastructure and services. External work included cladding in insulating boards and coating with color through system. The specially designed roof was covered with color coated steel sheets. Bathrooms & kitchens were en-suite. External works also had brick walls, paths & railings. The structure of roof was designed to provide extra space, which came out as additional room. The each finished unit consisted of 4 houses, en-suites, main bathroom, kitchen, lounge & extra room in loft.

-Tibetan school Clement town. Dehradun. An extension to Tibetan School was built by Abdul Aleem contractors and engineers in Clement Town, Dehradun. It is a residential cum day co-educational school. Apart from the main school, hostels was also extended due to enrollment has continued to increase steadily. - CNI Girls School Millennium block and Science block Rajpur road. Dehradun. Another Education building known as Millenium and science block has been constructed by Abdul Aleem contractors and engineers at CNI Girls School in Dehradun valley. This project has been extremely appreciated by the Central board of girls education and CNI trust as it was constructed in a very quick time as all works to this premises were carried out whilst the premises was occupied and normal schooling

scheduled were continued. - MKP College, Commerce building- Amritkaur road. Dehradun.
A very similar project as explained above has also been successfully completed by the company at MKP College Dehradun. It was a project for Additional Teaching Facilities, an extension of a listed building located at a MKP College. The structure is of brick and concrete with heavy iron beams incorporated to strengthen the foundations and increase the life of building.

A conference hall was build charging very low prices, to come out as a helping hand in support of increasing women services in Dehradun city. -12 Small units of low cost of houses. Clementown. Dehradun. Another project was offered to company very near to the above work. The new build construction consisted en-suite bedrooms living accommodation, dining and lounge areas and bathing areas. Company willfully accepted the project and completed the project with low construction cost and high quality. Again to help and support the ever increasing local community. Award was given on the successful completion of the Tibetan resettlement project.
