Welcome!

To our new paper catalogue for year 2010! You can find here offer of functional replica weapons and armory. Our goal is to provide quality equipment to wide range of people interested in historical fencing. We produce replicas with more than 20 years of experience and with lots of satisfied custommers throughout Europe. All the weapons are handmade by our company. Their design, method of construction, dimensions and weight are optimised on the basis of many years of experience of their use in contact fencing. The risk of fracture or breaking off of part of the blade causing danger and injury is hereby minimised. All our blades are made from high-grade spring steel type 14260.7; any further heat treatment causes changes in the weapon's utility characteristics. The cross-piece and head are made from steel of standard quality. The head is brazed to the blade (hard solder); the connection acts as a safety-catch against abnormal exertion of the weapon. Any interference in or change to these connections causes not only loss of guarantee but also reduces substantially the weapon's useful life. If a cross-guard starts moving, we recommend tightening the connection using nylon line, cord, leather or similar materials. There also helps few well aimed hammer hits on the middle part of guard. Stainless steel is not used anywhere in the weapon and thus it becomes important to preserve and protect it against damp conditions. If you follow these principles and recommendations you will minimise possible damage to the weapon and your own safety. Fabri Armorum provides its customers two years guarantee to any and all of its products and lifelong service. Please use the weapons in a reasonable way, they are not to be used for cutting wood, as a lever or a mattock; use the weapon properly and adjust the way you use it to suit circumstances and your own strength. We do hope you will be fully satisfied with our products and we wish you every success.

Theese daggers are designed to use in live combat, so blades are blunted and have enough radius on the point. We use the same construction like our swords for maximal sturdyness.

Training version of sword means a purpose-built replica of sword for using it in swordfight training, or in battle. We could also call it "economic", because in fact, it is not a typical sword from our production. It is made to have all fighting qualities for the best price possible. The price of a "Training" sword is lower, because ve produce high number of them at once, and we also spare some work on polishing and decorating. Theese weapons are very simple and we do not make any customization here.

We can not warrant full protection of hand against strong hits. For maximal protection we recommend models 4 and 5. For the best agility of wrist and fingers in technic fencing we recommend nr. 7. Model nr. 2 is possible to make in three different ways: a) all fingers together (mitten gloves) b) index finger is separate from others c) all fingers are separate (normal gloves)

Armory
In principle, concerning our armour or its parts we can say the same as about our weapons: We pay main attention to its contemporary practicle use. Its construction and robustness is defined by the demand of mobility and all-round view more than by the demand of protection from a real deadly attack from a firearm or edged weapon.
