DEXAMETHASONE - Glucocorticosteroid, anti-inflammatory properties and alter immune system responses

orally or intravenously desired dose may depend on your body weight taken with food or milk to help protect the stomach from irritation If you are going to stop taking dexamethason e, it should usually be tapered down over a few days or weeks

this drug suppresses the immune system; raise your risk of getting an infection or reactivation of an old infection increased appetite trouble sleeping upset stomach excess fluid or swelling in the face, hands or feet weight gain slowed wound healing increase blood glucose levels

sodium can also increase the amount of fluid you retain; may suggest you follow a low sodium diet

SUCRALFATE SELF CARE TIPS TO PREVENT SIDE EFFECTS: eat a high fiber diet and drink plenty of fluids
