Designation Job Description Product Specification BankFusion Meridian is a Banking Oriented Message Broker. It is the standard integration mechanism for Misys products and is deployed on hundreds of Misys customer sites. It can be used b y internal development teams to construct black-box integration gateways and the development environment can also be used by customers to create their own integration logic between different systems. The design environment is Eclipse based and integration flows are defined in EMF models. The ru ntime is a JEE server application typically running in WAS. End points are provided by Camel or are custom written to provide more sophisticated behaviour than is available with standard Camel endpoints. Responsibilities • Assure product quality through the development of ‘net-new’ manual or automated test scripts. This effort should maximize the ROI while minimizing quality risks. Output consistent with department’s guidelines. • Assure process quality and consistency through development or adherence to guidelines and standards appropriate to product and industry and/or developm ent life cycle. • against. • When involved in testing, Ensure test design is traceable to requirement and achieves a high level of requirement and test execution coverage. Continuously improve test scripts and product coverage. Complete all updates test cases, test scripts, test harnesses, test guidelines according to schedule. • Execute all assigned testing, whether manual or automated, according to schedule and any productivity targets committed. • Support root cause analysis exercises against target areas, propose corrective approaches for measurable improvements, track and report progress; communicate the plans and results effectively to drive change. Collect and analyze data and other findings, according to plans. • Produce reports that are clear, effective, insightful, and traceable – whether for defects discovered during test or non-compliance issues found during a process review or audit. Utilize existing tracking systems, report mechanisms, agreed conventions, and metrics when preparing and providing such reports. • Escalate concerns about project/product/process quality in clear, timely, collaborative, constructive way. • Knowledgeable and conversant in defect prevention and associated tools and methodologies. • Participate in improvement initiatives. Develop Quality Assurance plans or Test Plans and embed appropriate activities as part of project/product developm ent plans. • Objectively evaluate processes and products against applicable standards, and procedures. Participate in defect reviews or other project efforts, providing clear status when needed. Experience • Design and develop test case based on Requirements Document/Design documents/Use Case. • Experience in testing messaging software is an added advantage • Execute test as per the product release plans • Report results during test design and execution • Participate in internal review of Test Case, Scenarios • Help in continuously improving test cases and test coverage Leverage (if necessary, develop) metrics-based governance, relevant reporting and audit mechanisms. Assist project manager in identifying data to maintain, and KPIs to analyze and report Quality Engineer

• Review Business Requirements and Functional Specifications to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness • Defect logging and follow up to its closure • Meet the defined performance targets. • Brilliant written, verbal and telephonic communication skills • Technical skills to understand the product at a quick speed • Strong quality and test background, preferably in testing banking application s • Support in development of excellent test plans and test execution • Ability to write very clear bug reports easily understood by development • BE/B.Tech - CS/ECE/IT/MCA • 2- 5 years of relevant experience • Should have a flair for testing and quality • Excellent Problem solving • Creativity when it comes to development of test cases
