Chapter 3 Results and Discussions

This chapter presents, analyzes and interprets the data gathered from the survey. The discussions were made following the order and sequence of the questions raised in Chapter 1. TAKE NOTE: This section summarizes the result of the study in light of the problems stated in Chapter 1. The result should be presented in straight forward and unbiased way. Analyze the result of statistical computations and gives reasons why it happens. In making chapter three, one must follow these steps: 1. Introduce the topic with a concise description of its overview. 2. Present the table. 3. Analyze the contents of the table then interpret the results. 4. Correlate the result of the present study with your the related study.

Word tables include the same elements of format as do other types of tables-table number and title headings. Keep column entries brief and simple. DOUBLE SPACE ALL PARTS OF A WORD TABLE.

Tables, figures, and other images cited within your thesis should appear within your thesis (not as part of the appendix) directly after your initial reference to them. This requirement is in keeping with the standards of most published journal articles and style guides, many of which also provide instructions on the proper formatting for table/figure titles and captions. Typically, table titles appear above the table, while figure titles appear below the figure. Additional descriptive captions may appear beneath the table or figure.

Noticeable gaps or blank spaces between texts should be avoided. If you place tables, figures, or images on a separate page, make sure that they are within the margins and that the tables, figures, or images on subsequent pages follow the same alignment. We do not recommend that you break in mid-sentence in order to place a figure/table/image within the text. While images should be embedded within your thesis, complete your sentence or idea first.

Chapter 4 Summary, Conclusion and Recommendation TAKE NOTE: This contains the overview of the research, a brief summary of the background of the study, and a justification of the reason for choosing the study. It should include also the statement of the problem. In making Chapter 4, one must follow these steps: Summary 1 2 format: 3 Global situation National situation Regional situation Local situation Summarize your introduction and the background of your study. Mention salient and important points to develop the problem under study using bullet

Discuss in one paragraph the link between the background of the study and the proposed

research problem 4 5 6 Mention the reasons and significance for conducting the study. State the major of the study. State the specific questions to be addressed by the study: 1. Problem 1 (this time around, those sub questions raised in the Statement of the Problem found in Chapter 1 will no longer be numbered as 1.1, 2.1, etc., instead state them in narrative form. 2. Problem 2 (and so on) 3. Problem 3

State the hypothesis of the study (if warranted). Discuss utilized research design and the instruments used for data gathering. Mention

briefly the contents of the instruments. Mention as well the total number of the respondents of the study and the time frame of the data collection. 9 After the data gathered were tabulated, organized, what statistical methods were used. If

scaling were utilized in the instrument, how may the variables be quantified and its corresponding interpretation. If hypothesis were stated, what statistical test was utilized to test it. 10 After careful observation, analysis and interpretation of the collected data, state the

findings of the study as follows: Problem 1. This time state the problems as stated earlier in this chapter following this format. But the findings will be bulleted as below in the light of the sub-problems stated in the Statement of the Problem found in Chapter 1 (follow this format until all the findings were presented) Answer to sub-problem 1 Answer to sub-problem 1

Conclusions In the light of the findings stated, state the conclusions were drawn from it: 1. Conclusion 2. Conclusion and so on. Recommendation In view of the conclusions drawn, discuss recommendations you are to propose: 1. Recommendation 1 2. Recommendation 2 and so on..
