College Application Training Offers College Financial Counseling Course For Pare nts And Students The course

is taught by Andy Watkins, J.D., Business Director of College Applica tion Training, who has over 15 years experience as a corporate attorney and fina ncial consultant. Los Angeles College Application Training announced today that they will be offerin g a college financial counseling course for parents and students on Monday, Ju ne 18th in Los Angeles, CA, according to Founder,Chelsea Hackett. We are very excited about offering this course for parents and students as they beg in thinking about how to pay for college," said Chelsea. "This course is a great way for parents to get an introduction to the basics of college financial aid w hile they still have time to make family adjustments to maximize their financial aid awards." A graduate of South Pasadena High School, he received his B.A. in Japanese Studies from Bucknell University, where he spent a year studying at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law Schoo l in Los Angeles, California and began his career with the law firm of Graham & James, LLP in Los Angeles focusing on servicing clients from the Pacific Rim on a wide-range of international business matters. Now, he works with families to financially prepare them for college and optimize the amount of financial aid p arents and students are eligible to receive. A Dean s Scholar at the Universi ty of Southern California (USC), she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kapp a with a B.A. in International Relations and French.
