With two chapters, the club has grown in less than three years to nearly 100 dues paying members. The club has been asked by several community organizations to lead events and has been given awards. Awards Banquet and has been asked by several community organizations to lead events and has also developed and executed several fundraising campaigns for organizations in the area, raising needed money for San Francisco City College and The San Francisco AIDS Foundation, among others. The focus of the club is on safety and camaraderie and holds seven monthly rides, periodic seminars and has a program for mentoring new riders. Each year the club has several overnight trips lasting for 2-12 nights in various locations around the country. It also organized, promoted and executed a yearly gathering of motorcyclists in Oakhurst, California this year attended by nearly 100. I was the initial founder of the club and served as President until December 2011.
