Chapter 3: 6. Implication

a. Significant Experiences One of the significant is that when I was tasked to reformat a computer from other department. I was asked to reformat only one partition and do not partition the other one because the files were located in that partition. But I dont know what happened, both the partition were deleted. I was too nervous that our boss will get mad at me. And I was too thankful that they already have a back up of the files that were deleted. I really did not know what happened because I followed instructions correctly. Our boss told me that those experiences cant be learned from school. Also, I cant forget the times that they were teaching us lessons about computers. Every time that we had we had new things to learn from them. Also, everytime that they were telling us that everything that we are learning from them will be charged as experiences. It cannot be learned from school and will be our basis on our future career. I can not also forget the time that we are looking for a company. It is really hard to apply on big companies when youre school is not well known. Some companies discriminate students from public or government schools. We always hear them say tatawagan na lang namen kayo. . , then we already knew, we have to find another company. Everybody experienced that and we I dont have anything against that. Every company has the right to choose the person they will hire. It is just that they never had the chance to test the ability of the person, they always based it on the university name. It is one of my significant experiences because I had the chance to experienced being rejected by companies not because of my ability but because the modern discrimination that we are experiencing in our country. b. How these experiences help me in the future? These experiences can help me in the preparation for my career. This will serve as my experiences and as my stepping stone when the time comes that I will really find a job after I graduated or passed the Board examination. And also the lessons that we have learned from the company will serve as an inspiration. And also the rejection that we had received from other companies will also serve as our inspiration to strive harder in life and studies to achieve what we wanted. Those will be our strength in the future and also it will be our to other applicants.

Chapter 4: 9. Conclusion After my second On the Job Training, I therefore conclude that, anything that we can learn inside the school can never be enough when it comes to real jobs in the field. We really need to have experiences before we go the real field. And also, having a job is not like in school which is full of pressures, having a job is just like playing as long as you know your duties and responsibilities at the company. And also, I have realized that experience is really the best teacher, thats why, we need to prepare ourselves in the near future when the time comes that we will be having our own work and jobs. Theories and principles will be our weapons but still they were not enough, it will really happen that even we are being very careful, there will come a time that experience will challenge us and will teach us to believe that, we need to learn over and over again.
