This instruction manual serves as a guide for the Fairy LED hide-a-way. IMPORTANT! Please read through all provided instructions and any listed warnings in regards to product use.

SAFETY REGULATIONS
The following provides all the information necessary to safely operate the previously listed products of Feniex Industries, Inc. Please read this manual thoroughly before installing or operating your new product in order to prevent any damage or injury. Failure to follow the listed instructions in the manual may result in damage to your product or personal injury. The product(s) contain(s) high-intensity LEDs. Do not stare directly into the light(s) as eye damage or momentary blindness could occur. Please guarantee all vital components of the vehicle are not in danger of being damaged by drilling holes necessary for installation. Check all sides of the mounting surface before drilling any holes into the vehicle. Do not install this product in any way that interferes with the deployment of the air bag. Doing so may damage the effectiveness of the air bag and can lead to serious personal and vehicle injury. The installer will assume full responsibility of proper installation of the new unit. Please clean the mounting surface before installation of the unit when using tape, brackets, magnet, Velcro or suction cups. The product ground wire must be connected directly to the Negative (-) battery post for effective use of the unit. Please follow all wiring guidelines provided to guarantee long lifespan and productivity. Failing to follow these instructions may result in damage to the product.

Warranty
Feniex Industries, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that the product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for sixty (60) months from the date of purchase for all LED products. Feniex Industries warranties computer systems, horns, speakers and sirens and controllers for 24 months, while coverage for strobes, switches and flashers are for a 12 month term. If a manufacturer defect occurs within this time period, Feniex will repair or replace malfunctioning parts free of charge. If a warranty problem occurs, please contact customer support at 1.800.615.8350 or visit the web site at www. Feniex.com. If the product needs to be returned for repair or replacement, call our customer support line to receive a return merchandise authorization number. Operational times will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. central time. Please do not send in product without contacting Feniex first for a RMA number and filling out the return form located at www.feniex.com under the About Us tab.

SERVICE AFTER EXPIRATION


Feniex Industries will still provide service for all products after expiration of the warranty. For any issues, call the customer support line. In some instances it may be necessary for the product to be shipped, freight prepaid and insured for loss or damage to Feniex headquarters.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
This warranty shall not apply if this product is a.) used with products not sold or licensed by Feniex Industries, Inc. (including, but not limited to, power supplies, radios, control devices, adapters and power converters); b.) is used for rental; c.) is modified or tampered with; d.) is damaged by negligence, accident, unreasonable use, or by other causes unrelated to defective materials or workmanship; or e.) has had the serial number altered, defaced or removed. Any applicable implied warranty, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby limited in duration to the warranty periods described previously in this manual. In no event shall Feniex Industries be liable for consequential or incidental damages resulting from the breach of any implied or express warranties. This warranty is valid world wide.

INLINE DRIVER SCREW FAIRY LED

Automotive Lamp Installation Instructions: In this installation method, the Fairy LED will share the same reflector as the taillight, headlight or brake light. Make sure the Fairy LED does not interfere with the operation of these lights. The Fairy LED is designed to function with its inline driver. Do not connect the Fairy LED directly to another battery or flasher unit. This will result in damage to the LED bulb and void the warranty.

Surface Mounting Instructions: See illustration for mounting information: 1.) Place the unit with flange against the selected mounting surface. 2.)Mark the areas where the mounting holes will be drilled. If the mounting surface is part of the vehicle, make sure no vital components could be damaged by the drilling process. 3.) Drill two mounting holes in the marked surface, as well as a 0.5 diameter hole for wire passage. Make sure to de-burr holes.

1.) Follow OEM instructions on how to remove the headlight or taillight reflector assembly from the vehicle.

2.) Locate a flat surface in the bottom of the housing and cut a 1 diameter hole in the housing with the use of a hole saw. Make sure to de-burr the hole thoroughly.

3.) Place the Fairy LED into the reflector housing and mark the spot for the two mounting holes. Remove the Fairy LED and drill two, 2 mm holes.

4.) Insert the Fairy LED from the back or bottom of the headlight/taillight, as close to the focal point as possible. **For optimal lighting, place a washer at least 0.25 thick between the bottom of the bulb and the reflector.**

5.) Screw in the Fairy LED using the provided hardware and secure it to the reflector assembly.

4.) Pass the wires through the 0.5 diameter hole, and secure the lighthead to the mounting surface with the provided hardware. 5.)Proceed to the wiring instructions on the following page.

6.) Remount the headlight or taillight assembly in the vehicle and follow the provided wiring instructions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not wire this unit to an alternative power supply, such as AC or DC converters. Wire only as instructed . The red (+) wire should only connect to the vehicles battery or to a 12V switch post. Failure to do so may damage the unit and will void the warranty.

Red wire = Positive, 12V power Black wire= Negative, Ground White wire= Sync cable Yellow wire= Flash mode changer

Wiring Instructions: See illustration for wiring information:

1.) To power the unit,extend the red (+) wire to a 12V post. Extend the black (-) wire to the ground post of the vehicles battery.

2.) Momentarily connect the yellow wire to a 12V source to select a flash pattern from the 19 available.

3.) To sync two or more light heads, connect the red(+) wires from the lightheads together. Connect the black (-) wires from the light heads together. For synchronization, Change the flash pattern to any slow pulsing patterns, and proceed to connect the flash mode changer (yellow) wires from each light head together. To synchronize the light heads, connect the flash mode changer (yellow) wires from each light head together. To configure the heads to flash simultaneously, connect one white (sync) wire from one of the hide-a-ways a constant 12V source. When the light heads are activated, the light heads will automatically alternate.
