Howard Garner proposed the theory of intelligence in 1983.

MI Theory suggest that an array of different kinds of intelligence exist in human beings.

Definition: Multiple Intelligence is an approach of teaching and learning. If a child is not learning in the way you are teaching, then you must teach in the way the child learns. -Rita Dunn

Three Fundamental Propositions


1. Intelligence is not unitary. 2. Intelligence is not fixed. 3. Intelligence is not fully measured by IQ test.
