    Samsung
    In 1938 the Samsung's founder Byung-Chull Lee set up a trade export company in Korea The word Korean hanja actually means Samsung which in korea means tristar or three stars. In 1969, Samsung Electronics was established producing what Samsung is most famous for, Televisions, Mobile Phones In 1993 Samsung developed the 'lightest' mobile phone of its era.

    CONFLICT
    Apple & Samsung confront each other with the patent & intellectual property rights issues. Apple filed the first lawsuit against Samsung in California on April 15, 2011. Samsung Fired back 21 suits are in progress in 9 countries worldwide.

    REASON FOR CONFLICT


    Apple alleged Samsung of violating its several patents by copying some of its products like iPad and iPhone. Prohibit each other from selling their products (those violating patents) in certain countries. Samsung to be banned to import or sell Galaxy tablets and smartphones in US and Apple to be banned to create the market for iPhone 5 and iPad in Japan, Korea and Germany. If either of one happens, the respective company would suffer from a major loss.

    MUTUAL DEPENDANCE
    Apple depends upon Samsung for manufacturing of iPhone parts like processor, system memory and flash memory. Apple to switch to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. Apple is one of the most potential clients of Samsung.

    OUR UNDERSTANDING
    Proper Settlement The extent of violation committed by the two can be weighed Pay royalties or allow concessions on patents. Otherwise, the war would be dragged on for years in the court of law.

    CURRENT SCENARIO
    Samsung is planning to ban the sale of iPhone 5. Extension of the conflict between Apple and Google, namely Android. Kim reports, Elliot called Jobs legal fight with Samsung a matter of pride Apple and Samsung will eventually end their legal dispute and reach a compromise
