Non Ericsson BSC without NNSF support can be connected to Ericsson MSC Pool
All the BSCs see the virtual MSC Signaling End Point (SEP) in the MSC Pool Proxy as an MSC-S. All the MSC-Servers in the pool see the virtual BSC SEP in the MSC Pool Proxy as a BSC.

The MSC Pool Proxy takes care of the signal routing and the MSC selection (based on either the received Network Resource Identifier (NRI) value or the relative capacity of the MSCs).
All the virtual SEPs in the M-MGw are pool-internal MTP3 real signaling points.

Load Redistribution
Now the Relative Capacity factor is set in the MGw instead of the RAN node
MSC Selection
Traffic Distribution, Example of Location Updating with TMSI RAN distributes subscribers roaming into the pool area among the MSCs. Subscribers remain registered in the same MSC until they roam out of the pool area. MSC assigns a TMSI, including a NRI. The NRI identifies the MSC. Pool Service Area MSC1 MSC2 MSC3
RAN selects one MSC, according to the relative MSC capacity factors. RAN selects MSC1.
Subscriber roams into the pool.
