Raise participants awareness to challenges and concerns faced by Singapore and examine their role in response to the needs of our nation Allow participants to gain new perspectives and knowledge through engaging with political, industry and community leaders Provide students with the opportunities to network amongst themselves & acquire teamwork and social skills

Participant Profile
Participants must be able to commit to the full programme (26-30 May). Students who have other commitments on any of the days must not be nominated as participants
Suitable representatives of their Institution Able to contribute during the Seminar Sexes, ethnic groups, streams/courses

17-19 years old Well-groomed, good conduct Articulate, able to discuss issues raised Able to participate in physically rigorous activities

Participant Roles
2 Group Leaders 3 Presenters (1 to answer questions during Q&A) 1 Reserve Presenter 1 Multimedia Manager 1 Props Manager (if necessary) 13 Researchers 4 Media Spokespersons As IP Schools are sending in smaller teams, participants can be assigned more than one role

Guidelines

Examine allocated domain, identify area of focus and prepare Parallel Presentation
Project Showcase (multimedia report about 5min) Oral Presentation The multimedia report should be integrated into the parallel presentation rather than to be a stand alone segment.

20 minutes for technical set up and full Parallel Presentation Q&A segment at the end of presentations in the venue. 1 presenter to answer on behalf of team
