Objective: To study consumers preference. To evaluate the view of consumer to buy a particular
brand of paint. To find out which is the most famous and widely accepted brand. To compare different brands of paint.
Data Types
Primary Data:We adopted the Survey Method to collect the primary data. We took the help of a Structured Questionnaire to collect the information from the readers.
Secondary Data:As our subject is based on psychology of the people, we do not have any secondary data.
Data Analysis:We did a pilot survey and from that we get to know that out of whole this four brands are popular. Asian Paint Nerolac Paint Burger Paint Dulux Paint
Reason
We did market research and after the market research
we analyze that most of the people are using this 4 well known brands that is, Asian Paint, Nerolac Paint, Berger Paint, Dulux Paint. The main reason for prefering this well known brands is price and quality. It is easily available in the market. There are many attractive designs for making colorful house.

Finding
Quality and durability are the main factors for
selecting any paint for consumer followed by price factor. From the different existing paint Asian paint is a most preferable one followed by Nerolac, Berger, Dulux and other paints. According to consumers, paints is a seasonal product, which is mostly consumed between September to November. At last they agreed that Asian paint helps their home look attractive and gives a long lasting look.

Conclusion
Through we are not so expert, we have come to certain conclusions from the deep analysis of our comparative study towards the brand preference of paint and retailers perception about the brand. There is no single reason that is responsible for high brand preferences in Decorative Paints among the respondents. Only the Quality and Price seems to dominate the customers preferences in this regard.
