The Beginning of A Career

Jobs worked with

Steve Wozniak. Woz was an incredibly talented engineer, especially in electronic gadgets. Jobs was a market visionary.

computer stores, Jobs was able to sell 25. After selling his Volks wagon mini-bus, and asking Woz to sell his scientific calculator, the two raised enough money to create Apple Computers.

Wozniak quit Apple in 1985. As sales of the Macintosh took off, CEO

John Sculley thought that Jobs was hurting Apples success, and gradually forced Jobs to leave. Board members of Apple met on May 28th, 1985 and each voted on the removal of Steve from the company.

Pixer was bought by Jobs in 1986.

The first film produced by the partnership was Toy Story. The company produced box-office hits includes A Bug's

Life (1998), Toy Story 2 (1999), Finding Nemo (2003) The Incredibles (2004), Ratatouille (2007), WALL-E (2008)

In 1996, Apple bought

NeXT, and with it came Steve Jobs. Jobs management style had drastically changed. Relaxed and was open to suggestions. Employees commented that Jobs made experimenting with electronics fun.

Looking Up
NeXT STEP software was

being turned into Mac OS X. Under Jobs guidance the company increased sales. Introduced the iMac and other new products. In 2000, Jobs became the full CEO of Apple, after the success of the iMac.

iPod is a portable media player

released on November 10, 2001. Less than a year after iTunes was released, Apple released the iPod. Originally only for Mac users In July 2002, the new iPod was available for Windows users as well. In eight weeks, five million songs were sold on iTunes. Took over 80% of the legal music downloading market

iPad
iPad is a tablet

computer. It contains audio-visual media including books, periodicals, movies, music, games, apps and web contents. iPad was announced on January 27, 2010.

iPhones
First iPhone was released

on June 29, 2007. Six out of ten Americans were aware of its release. Time magazine declared it "Invention of the Year" for 2007. A small device with multimedia capabilities and functions as a touch screen smart phone.

A year later, the

iPhone 3G was released in July 2008. In June 2009, the iPhone 3GS, added voice control, a better camera, and a faster processor.

iPhone 4 was thinner than

previous models, had a five megapixel camera which can record videos in 720p HD, and added a secondary front facing camera for video calls. A major feature of the iPhone 4S, introduced in October 2011, which is a virtual assistant that is capable of voice recognition.

Steve Jobs is no more.

Jobs died at his

California home around 3 p.m. on October 5, 2011, due to pancreatic cancer. Over a million tributes were sent, which are now displayed on the Steve Jobs memorial page.
