IDT Definitions of Forms/Steps in our process for your reference: The Online Project Form contains information on all of IDT's VoIP interconnect capabilities. When you complete the form, it will provide IDT with vital information regarding your ISP, preferred codec and signaling, and your equipment so that we may be able to interconnect effectively. Note that the downloadable PDF file/s also contain information about IDTs VoIP capabilities which are useful to your technical staff, including the IP address ranges from where IDT traffic comes from that you need to allow if you employ some ACL or firewall. Once the online form is filled, you will get a reference (ticket) number which you can use to re-login (in combination with the telephone number you specified) to update your information. This will be reviewed by an IDT Design Engineer who will contact you to verify critical information and to arrange for an IP Quality Test. It is IDT's policy to conduct a preliminary IP quality test with all VoIP customers prior to implementation into IDT's network to ensure that high quality internet connections are available. a) IP Configuration: we test internet connectivity and quality between the platforms to check several variables that often plague IP interconnects. b) Signaling Testing: platform interoperability test - which includes but not limited too is live test call cases. Please note that if we encounter technical difficulties during these testing steps, our engineers will work with your engineers to address and solve any problems and to ensure effective VOIP interconnections. c) CDR Matching: Match live call samples to ensure correct billing.
