Nashik and Kolhapur is big upcoming market for the float glass, because Mumbai, Pune are fulfilled area for a construction. There are about 9% of the commercial project most of in Nashik and these are Shopping Malls, As well as in Kolhapur these are Hospitals. Green Building concept of AIS is mostly liked to architect. According to this concept large on project is going on in Kolhapur i.e. Javadekars YASHAVANT ECO-HOME. New trend of use of toughened glass for a balcony in residential projects.
The products of Asahi India glass are not easily available in the market.
The distribution channel of AIS is not strong as compare to other bands. Most of buyers decision of glass is depend upon availability of that glass not for specific brand. Most of builders in residential project work of aluminium and glass gives to fabricators on area basis. That time decision of brand is depends on fabricators
Recommendations
Company should developed strong distribution channel. Company should participate in exhibitions like STHAPATYA. Company can also have the tie-ups with the known builders and architects. Company maintains the brand audit and brand equity. Company accepts the Blue Ocen Strategy
