Safety: Proposed Systems
•No exotic materials: Food Grade Materials Only
•No high voltage: Pumping Only
•No Moving Parts: Please refer to slide 14
•No high weights above thoroughfares
•Automated sensing and remote notification: Please refer to slide
16
•Structured to be secured against high wind and other natural
events
•Special Note: As a solar collector, high internal temperatures are
anticipated. Breech of enveloping insulation is required to access
these areas.
•Special Note: In the event that water flow is terminated, cooling is
discontinued, and given an extended period in the sun
deformations can occur that will focus high intensity light on areas
not intended to support it, temperatures may rise and ignition may
occur. This is planned for and multiple fire extinguishers will be
onsite at all times. Additionally, Flow Monitors will be linked to
paging systems manned at all times by World View Water Staff
and Security personnel who will be notified if flow stops.
Continuous video monitoring will be used by security and World
View Water Staff. Special monitored testing will be performed to
identify susceptibility to this condition in the course of the study.

Reliability
One of the primary goals of the present study as
shown in the timeline in the start memo, is to establish
product life and lifecycle including recyclability, failure
mechanisms, and means of remediation. The duration
that the systems have been run is far too short to establish
any formal reliability metrics, although I have personally
placed a facsimile of a cell in the elements and it showed
substantial integrity for over one year. Establishing
Techniques of effectively sealing the structural elements of
the system is a fundamental element of this primary goal.
