Introduction To .NET Framework

.NET is a "Software Platform". It is a language-neutral environment for developing rich .NET experiences and

The components that make up the .NET platform are collectively called the .NET Framework.

Differences between ASP and ASP.NET

ASP.NET code is compiled, whereas classic ASP used

interpreted scripting languages. ASP: No Web Server Controls, ASP.NET: Web Server Controls supported by .NET Framework. ASP.NET: We have global.aspx where we can handle some global things, Which is not in asp. ASP.NET: We can work with any language as code behind technique in asp.net that supports .Net frame work . ASP.NET: We have autopostback event which is not in asp .

The purposes of the Alumni Association are:

The purpose of the College Alumni Council is to provide an opportunity for enthusiastic alumni to become more engaged with and serve the needs of the College, specifically the Office of Alumni Relations.

Communicating and participating with the authorities of the college on matters of mutual interest.
Maintaining of an active alumni headquarters in the college campus.

Encouraging professional growth.

 In Existing Alumni Chatting is not possible. The Existing System is not accurate, efficient, reliable and faster. Lesser information on hand. Slow in process. The processing takes a long time. The stored information about the organization and the students is not

secure enough.
The information is person dependent. In the system different

departments Students have information only related to their respective department.

We can Chat with our friends. The Proposed System is accurate, efficient, reliable and faster than the existing system.

The New students communicate with Old students in efficient way.
