Antenna Installation Check List

Check Item 1 The matter that is paint break off and distorted can not appear on antenna. The antenna must be installed in the right height and position and polarization according to the design document or customer's instruction. The fixation of antenna and pole are reliable, all screws should be tightness. For the more than 1.2m antenna, the side strut must be installed and fixed position is correct. bracket cannot locate at one side of antenna; 2.The height difference of two fixing points for strengthening rod should be as small as possible and the angle between strengthening rod and horizon could not over 25.

ODU Installation Check List

Check Item
1 ODU's and hybrid coupler's appearances are properly. The latches of the ODU and hybrid coupler should tightly engage on the antenna. The screws should be fastened tight. The IF connector of ODU should be waterproofed and face downward. IF redundant: Leave enough slack when connecting cables to the ODU to facilitate future maintenance. ODU grounding: The ODU grounding cable should be shortest length as possible and attached to the tower body by the cable clamp. Before attached grounding cable, must scrape-off the paint.

Check ODU Installation

The latches of the ODU and hybrid

Check IF Cable Installation

The ODU grounding cable should be
shortest length as possible and attached to the tower body by the cable clamp. Before attached grounding cable, must scrape-off the paint.
The grounding cable of outdoor unit
should be soundly fastened to grounding bar nearby.

IF Cable Installation Check List

Check Item
1 In general, the IF cable should be grounded to a minimum of three points. When the IF cable is longer than 60 meters, add a grounding point for every extra 50 meters. The place about 1 m away from the ODU and 1 m away from the cable entry are propositional grounding point. All of outdoor connector should be waterproofed. Porthole: IF cable must be up-tilted or have Waterproof curve in the entrance of porthole.

The IF cables should be lined up tidily
and neatly, and should be no obvious breakage or distortion, and any exposed copper is not allowed. The bending radius of the IF cable should be equal to or greater than 55mm.
