LOGO
The hexagon symbol was originally adopted by

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation as its logo in 1983. It was developed from the banks house flag, a white rectangle divided diagonally to produce a red hourglass shape. Like many other Hong Kong company flags that originated in the 19th century, and because of its founder's nationality, the design was based on the cross of Saint Andrew. The logo was designed by graphic artist Henry Steiner.
