Spectral

colors include all those colors that can be produced by visible light. A common list indentifies six main bands:

The human eye can distinguish about 10 millions colors. Light no matter how complex its composition of wavelengths, is reduced to three types of color receptor cells, or cones

If one or more types of a persons color-sensing cones are missing or less responsible than that person can distinguish fewer colors

Aristotel discovered that by mixing two colors, a third is produced.

Newton

passed a beam of sunlight through a prism when the light came out it had seven different colors .The spreading was called dispersion by Newton.

Color

can influence our emotions, our actions and how we respond to various people, things and ideas. Color symbolism is the use of color to represent traditional, cultural, or religious ideas, or feelings.

- Is the color of fire blood, of love and life, of hope and sacrifice .Till nowadays many of the nations have the tradition to wear a red thread to be protected by any evil (s te apere de deochi)

Fo ancient romans, a red flag was a signal for battle. In Russia red means beautiful. In China red is the color of good luck and is used as a holiday and wedding color.

It

is associated with daylight, divinity, innocence, death and emptines. For all of us white simbolize purity. The ancient Persians believed all gods wore white. White flag is a symbol of truce. White means mourning in China and Japan.

Is

the total absence of light and is often used as a symbol of evil, bad luck or death.
It also symbolize power and prestige.

Is the color of fauna and flora. Green simbolizes life, spring, hope and regeneration. In ancient Greece, green symbolized victory.

Is

a symbolic color of sky, perfection and infinity. In Iran blue is the color of mouring. It is also associated with calm and relaxation. It is painted on the walls of prisons in order to maintain a calm atmosphere.

In

ancient China yellow was a royal color and the only one who was allowed to wear yellow clothes was the emperor. It represents the color of sun and sometimes simbolizes sickness.
