IN THAILAND

INTRODUCTION TO THAILAND
1. Thailand is the geographical heart of South-East Asia.

2. Thailand is located at the nation's northernmost point,is where Thailand's borders meet those of both Laos and Myanmar (Burma).
3. Thailand is composed of four main regions:
The northern mountainous region contains numerous ruins and temples,the ancient city of Chieng Mai, and Thailand's highest peak, Doi Inthanon.Also home to the hill tribes of Thailand. The north-east of Thailand occupies the semi-arid Korat plateau, the most desolate and least-visited part of the country. Central Thailand, which consists of the fertile plains surrounding the Chao Phraya River, is the country's most populous region.

PROBLEM BACKGROUND
December 8, 2009, a bombing at a local Thai market in Thailand's south, killing two people and wounding nine others. The blast happened about 1 km from a hotel where Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and his visiting Malaysian counterpart, Datuk Sri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak were having lunch during a trip to the local region that same day. Sources say the bomb was hidden in the gas tank of a motorcycle.

ISSUES IN THAILAND
Tsunami.

Pickpocket. Safety of street walker. Location of police station.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SURVEY

To gain knowledge.

Explore tourism trends in particular destination.

Explore the reason of such phenomenon happened. Analysis the positive & negative impact of tourism issues, facilities, and trend.

METHODS OF SURVEY
To record the survey that we have did, we are used:
Small group discussion. Internet searching. Qualitative method. Observation. Journal writing. Photography.

RESULT
No 1. Facilities security guard Picture Commments I. they take care of the traffic and the vehicle to be parked. prevent them which are guaranteed the safety of tourists. II. security guard also became a place for tourists ask something.

I. facilitate road users to know what is in front of them. II. Easy to understand the signboard.

Police station

I. enable tourists to make a complaint about any problems. II. keep the area around the tourist spots to ensure the safety and security of tourists there. III. the tourists can inquire about traffic at peak time or leisure time where dont have many vehicle through the road.

I. warning signs that are easy to understand and clear. II. concerned about the safety of tourists and residents of surrounding areas. III. Have multiple language and that good for others to understand.

I. to monitor criminals and secure place to detect errors residents or tourists who break the rules and laws. II. Video taken with CCTV can be recorded and reviewed later.

I. what we are seeing is unmanageable wires and fibrous visible. II. This can be a danger to tourists. III. we can hear the flow of electricity flowing.

Life jacket

I. life jackets must be worn while in a boat or other water because it is an important safety factor. II. while in our boat should not be too active for fear of falling on the way. III. we as passengers should listen to the advice of a knowledgeable person on the boat.

Motorcyclists

I. bikers just only wear helmets while their passengers are not wearing. II. This can be a danger to other road users because it can cause an accident.

CONCLUSION
At the end of this survey, we can add knowledge of tourist safety and security in the tourism sector. Describe the attitudes, behaviors, or characteristics of the population based on data collected from a survey. Next identify safety issues arising at there. Next, we know the gate such as Tsunami Phenomenon, bombs and other safety issues was happened at there.
