Download the patch from Metalink ex:4751921 Read the readme.txt file Make sure that all pre-reqs are satisfied Set the environment Shutdown Database and listener Follow instructions as per readme.txt Set appropriate inventory location Apply the patch with OPatch utility Verify logfiles Start the database and listener

Pre-Patch Application
Send the instance outage notification. Down load the patches from Metalink Merge the patches if it is required. Take invalid objects details

Start patch application

Stop the services except Database and listener. Enable maintenance mode Apply the patch Monitor Log files and Database sessions

Post patch application

Verify the log files for errors and warnings. Disable the maintenance mode Compare invalid objects with pre-patch list Start the services. Do the post steps of patch.( If it has) Open the front end page and enable the iPayment key And run a sample concurrent request (active users). Send END outage notification.
