Ms office is a set of software


products released by
Microsoft, designed to
automate the office into a
paperless office. Currently
there are 14 versions of ms
office available.
A little bit of history
It was not until 1989 when the first" Microsoft
Office appeared.

Until that, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint" and
Excel were individual programs.

The first to appear was Word 1.: in1983.

After that, in 1985 Microsoft launched" Excel
1.:

Two years later the first edition of PowerPoint
was market for Macintosh computers.

Ms Word is a full featured word processing
program, which can be used for any work,
involving creating and managing text. It
can be used for simple and most complex
word processing applications .Using word,
you can prepare letters, reports, bills and
design brochures ,pamphlets, newsletters
etc.

Microsoft Excel

Excel is an electronic spreadsheet
program that can be used for storing,
organizing and manipulating data. When
you look at the Excel screen you see a
rectangular table or grid of rows and
columns. The horizontal rows are
identified by numbers (1,2,3) and the
vertical columns with letters of the
alphabet (A,B,C). Spreadsheets are often
used to store financial data.
Microsoft PowerPoint

PowerPoint is a presentation software program
that is part of the Microsoft Office package.
PowerPoint uses a graphical approach to
presentations in the form of slide shows that
accompany the oral delivery of the topic. This
program is widely used in business and
classrooms and is an effective tool when used
for training purposes.
Microsoft Office Access

Microsoft Access is an information
management tool that helps you store
information for reference, reporting, and
analysis. Microsoft Access can help you
overcome the limitations found when trying
to manage large amounts of information in
Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet
applications.
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Outlook is the email client
included with the Microsoft Office suite. It
manages email, calendars, contacts,
tasks, to-do lists, and documents or files
on the hard drive. Outlook helps you
communicate through email, phone
support, and group scheduling capabilities.
Outlook also helps you share information
by means of public folders, forms, and
Internet connectivity.
Microsoft Publisher
Microsoft Publisher is a desktop
publishing software application
capable of producing greeting cards,
certificates, newsletters and other
printed publications. The software
comes complete with a wide range of
pre-installed document templates.
